Someone made a good point on the Trade board thread.

Why didn't a team OS him at 1 year, 1.35? It would have been tough for the Rangers to match that with the cap and based on the compensation tiering, there is no compensation for that.

Gorton sounds non to pleased with how this went down from the tweets I’ve read
What have you seen? I would think water under the bridge at this point, that's how teams generally function in situations like this where the player holds out but signs before camp ends.

Beast post.

Also, may I reiterate:

F*** YEAH.

This team is shaping up to be something totally different than what's around the league.

Haha thanks.

See Tony sign. See Tony drive away in a VW.

It's going to be a treat to watch Tony move the puck quickly to that top six. Expecting breakaways and odd-man rushes.

Read the usuals. The tone doesn’t sound all that happy. Sounds annoyed. My opinion feel free to gather yours. Just my feeling don’t blame him either

He’s gotta go out and force the team to commit to him with his play

All I got to say about PP1 is Tony is a better passer then Trouba. Who do you want shooting on PP1, Trouba, or Kakko and Panarin?? That is how I see it.
I would agree, however I do think it might be better to have ADA and Fox run the 2nd PP while Trouba can just be the triggerman on the 1st unit, with the amoutn of talent the rest of the unit has.

lol JG knows the deal.

its just business.

its not like ADA didn't have a high powered agent who's a principal in a high powered agency who represents dozens of big time players.

CAA represents some slugs named jacob degrom and noah syndergaard. bums.

also sidney crosby and patrick kane. who ?

this isnt ADA the river boat gambler going full commando here. he had representation advising him.

it's business. its all forgotten the minute the puck drops for real that is until next year when we start all over again.

Wanting trouba to be the trigger man on a PP featuring Zibanejad, Kakko, and Panarin might be the dumbest idea ever....

no offense
