Yes he has, and theres no point in going into it all now. Just look at the franchise future rankings with the Rangers being um... #1.

I, like everyone else, is really scared about the implications of all this. What kind of dumb moves will they make? Are they going to replace Quinn in a few days, and with whom? This may end up being a very dark day for the organization. They could have at least waited until the season ended.

Since I cannot upvote anymore after the Hulktard incident, I can just say I agree with you. I'm inches from quitting my attention towards the NHL altogether. I'm so sick and done with how the entertainment, the cold hearted money garbage destroys everything about the sport.

In this mafia league, you never know. That reason could just as well be another lie. It might just as well have been Dolan & Davidson making the initial message and then Dolan went apeshit for what they wrote - after an angry phone call from Bettman.

It's crazy to think how differently things would have turned out if Parros just handed out a measly suspension for the rest of the regular season.
The list of people who have handled this incident correctly is getting smaller and smaller by they day.

Team is blown out in three NYI games and can't keep games close with anybody except NJ, BUF, and PHI as of late. Team isn't tough to play against, it's almost too easy.

Ok, but Drury isn't clueless and it doesn't seem like he's just going to burn down the franchise. He's been taught in the mold of Gorton and he has to know what he has here. I trust him and have been a fan of having him in the process all along. Time will tell but I have faith.

We'll also see as more comes out, but if your boss puts out a league-altering statement, you back it up or you leave. JD and JG could have spoken to him prior to releasing it and given their input, but once its out you back it up, especially in the context of protecting your best player. If this is why they were fired, I get it.

Would any be shocked if Sam the final broadcast of the season goes apeshit now?

I need all the details on this before hammering home my opinion.
 
I'm not surprised that Dolan was maybe impatient with Gorton, but firing JD is beyond stunning. I wonder if he demanded JD fire Gorton and JD refused so Dolan fired them both.

Would not surprise me at all for him to name Messier as President and to try and bring Torts back in the offseason to replace Quinn.
