The main problem is JD didn't have the political capital that Glen Sather did.

Multiple people told Dolan that Sather was the best in the business. JD didn't come with that pedigree, and that very much matters to someone like Dolan who has to 'collect the best' things.

yeah we both have similar thoughts on this. Can't blame Dolan for being pissed off honestly. I know the guy is made of money but how many f***ing buyouts is he going to have on his payroll? How many embarassing displays with the ADA, Panarin, and Wilson situation can a GM and President preside over before the owner has to take action? Not to mention we won the lottery in back to back years, have an MVP and Norris candidate, a tremendous goaltender and are still going to miss the playoffs again. Only thing that remains to be seen is if Quinn makes it to next season.

I agree. People calling Dolan a disaster can't see the situation down the middle or from his side because, well, they hate him. Bias comes into play. You cannot tell me this didn't have to do with the game two nights ago and the season as a whole.
