AND about $10 million per year for the next 5,6,7 years. If you want Nylander it will cost you this:
1st round pick (conditional)
A top 4 D
A prospect
Why 5,6,7? Which one is it?AND about $10 million per year for the next 5,6,7 years.
No one knows that, do they? The obvious point is trading for Nylander will also command committing to him to a very large salary. Why 5,6,7? Which one is it?

Or just wait for next year. If I was WN, I wouldn't talk about a new contract until after a trade if my terms aren't met by TML...If you want Nylander it will cost you this:

No. Toronto will get nothing next year for Nylander.Or just wait for next year.
Honestly this seems like the likely scenario. Teams that want him as a rental don't have the cap space to trade for him now and teams that can sign him to term won't give up the assets as they're likely all rebuilding which is why they can afford him. I could see Carolina doing something around Pesce or maybe Calgary as they also have players they can't seem to sign. Outside of that who knows.Or just wait for next year.
And the team that gets him will be much better off because of it. The best time to have traded WN was at the draft.No. Toronto will get nothing next year for Nylander.
Maybe. Are you running a General Managers Clinic right now?And the team that gets him will be much better off because of it. The best time to have traded WN was at the draft.
No offense - but the potential range of value in that trade is REALLY wide.If you want Nylander it will cost you this:

That’s Mike Reilly not Rielly.Florida........
That’s the dumbest answer ever!Hanfin would be the 7th d on the leafs behind Rielly, McCabe ( need him on PK ) and Gio ( leadership and still
Close to Hanfin )

My immediate response was that Nylander wasn't worth that, but then I could see a scenario where COL offers Girard, a suspect and their 1st round DP and that might fly from their perspective. I would expect that TML would turn it down because they're not looking for a Girard type of dman.
I don't think that 1 year of Nylander is going to get the Leafs a quality top 4 d-man, a 1st round DP, and a quality prospect. I guess time will tell.
Morgan Rielly exists. You also have McCabe who is needed on the PK and Girodano who is essential to the leadershipThat’s the dumbest answer ever!
Hanifin would be the Leafs best dman!
Lol no he doesn’t and Keller > NylanderKeller for Nylander.
Keller wants out of Arizona
Is that top 4 d current, or a young player who's in the AHL/NHL who has that potential ?If you want Nylander it will cost you this:
