Yea, I don't necessairly care what the problem is. But he's extremely ineffective, all over the ice. He's kinda useless to the team if he cannot be 'him'.

Yeah like he has no normal B game. It’s either going to be an A or it’s an F right now.

Weak to blame Woll for this.

There were a few factors.

Wes, Berube stapling MM AM together.

Nothing from depth
yea, Woll made plenty good saves after he let the weak one in. And the game was tied at 2 after he let the weak one in. I feel if you are level, anything before that doesn't matter.

Boys didn't get it done. Posts, penalties and p***yes.

I will say the heat on Mitch has been like 80-20 over their careers where it should be more like 51-49. Mitch gets the flogging but Auston just gets rewarded with more, more every time. We look around and this guy is the highest paid player in the game, was gifted the captaincy and is having the worst season of his career.

Goal scorers always get the benefit of the doubt because that is ultimately what is most important. It's obviously not a complete picture, but just the way it's always been.

I used to say that about Mitch... the gap in his good and bad games was so wide... he has corrected that imo. Matthews has gone the other way lol.

Dewar better start winning faceoffs at a better clip.

41% overall, 38.7% on draws in the defensive zone.

Kampf gets lots of criticism and ya his contract isn't good but he's way more reliable taking draws.

So many injuries you'd think you'd spread out the offence a bit with all these 11 million dollar forwards instead of relying on players that have shown they can't really produce in the NHL that well or stay on their feet.

December schedule is tough for every team. I expect a lot of teams to gave clunkers like we saw tonight.

I agree that’s the nature of goal scorers but throughout the history of the game they’re not the most important at all when it comes to winning and especially not when the program is goal scorer superstar led.

1960s Bobby Hull, and Chicago. Consistently beaten by deeper, better two way programs in Toronto and Montreal.

1990s Brett Hull, not a serious cup threat until he was a little older and landed on a Dallas team with everything else.

1990s-2000s Teemu Selanne, not really part of any successful club until his later years in Anaheim when they put everything together and he was a veteran.

1990s-2000s Pavel Bure, not exactly a player you could build a contender around on a consistent basis.

2000s-2010s Alexander Ovechkin, massive underachiever in the playoffs until that one special year.

2010s Steven Stamkos, basically only won when the supporting cast around him surpassed him.

Hot take central in here tonight 🤣

Maybe give our best player who has been back for just a week (and still has 7 points) a bit of a leash.

He’s only won the rocket three of the last four seasons but go off on how we should trade him and how he’s killing our team. My god.
