Team pukes on itself when they have a chance to separate on the rest of the division lol we will end up in the 2-3 game against Boston or Tampa again lmao
Funny thing is, the problem with our suddenly terrible PK is the same as the problem with our suddenly terrible PP; a guy wearing #34 who is set up to be the centerpiece of this team, but spends way too much time half-assing it.Special teams is killing us again. We cannot have a 50-60% PK and expect to win.
Keefe's up nextUgh hate losing but to Dubas team is worse!
Matthews need to be away from the other big 3
His game oddly isn’t suited to play with other skilled players
Matthews-Domi works when he’s back

I dunno, that could go so wrong, but you cannot argue with the other skill guys we have the team doesn't miss him much.I was starting to wonder during the period when Matthews was out if the Leafs should consider trading HIM for pieces, and now I'm around 99% positive. He can dominate when he wants to, but too often he chooses not to. And when he's playing like this he's dragging down all the players around him.
Maybe his sphincter?Matthews is playing like he's still hurt.
Tend to agree. I think that needs to be the norm, and you work in a power line here and there. Let him be the man, and if he can't so be it. But him neutering the other stars makes little sense... to me at least.Matthews need to be away from the other big 3

Please USA,give Matthews the C at 4 nations...guaranteed win for Canada
0 secondary or depth scoring.
He can't. He's too busy being GQ.The Leafs have been piss-poor the last 4 games, 5 if you go back to that almost fail in Tampa.
Bear Chicago because it sucks to suck. Beat Nashville because they had 5 good minutes and the last two losses.
Matthews needs to look at Sid, the greatest player of the last 25 years; his motor is always running, he's not playing sit and wait.
Watching Washington winning back to back nights hurts even more.Watching Matthews get dusted against a 38 year old Malkin was the cherry on top
Sundin styleWait till you see Matthews at Four Nations. I can see it now he’s going to dominate. Make leaf fans frustrated that we never see that type of emotion and effort during the playoffs.
