Here is what all top scorers are pacing for as of today:
Player | Games | Goals | Assists | Points | Games left |
Nathan MacKinnon | 82 | 50 | 90 | 140 | 17 |
Nikita Kucherov | 81 | 48 | 87 | 135 | 17 |
Connor McDavid | 80 | 31 | 104 | 135 | 19 |
David Pastrnak | 82 | 50 | 66 | 116 | 16 |
Artemi Panarin | 82 | 46 | 68 | 113 | 19 |
J.T. Miller | 82 | 40 | 66 | 106 | 16 |
William Nylander | 82 | 44 | 64 | 108 | 18 |
Mikko Rantanen | 82 | 39 | 67 | 106 | 17 |
Leon Draisaitl | 82 | 42 | 65 | 107 | 19 |
Auston Matthews | 81 | 69 | 33 | 103 | 18 |
Elias Pettersson | 82 | 39 | 60 | 98 | 16 |
Mitch Marner | 80 | 32 | 66 | 98 | 18 |
Sam Reinhart | 82 | 57 | 39 | 96 | 17 |
Quinn Hughes | 82 | 16 | 78 | 94 | 16 |
Matthew Tkachuk | 81 | 27 | 65 | 91 | 17 |
Kirill Kaprizov | 75 | 40 | 50 | 91 | 17 |
Cale Makar | 77 | 22 | 68 | 90 | 17 |
MacKinnon with a 5 point edge on Kuch + McDavid, and for one of the first times this year, also pacing for more goals than Kucherov. If this ends this way, MacKinnon is obviously sweeping Hart + Ross. McDavid had a lot of games in hand for a while, but is down to only 2 games in hand now with an 8 point gap on MacKinnon, so he needs to start getting hot if he's going to take a crack at the Ross.
Matthews still on pace for 69 goals - which would be an incredible total - but it's also a far cry from the ~78 goals/115 point pace he was on a little bit ago. Reinhart on pace for 57 goals, probably out of Rocket race barring an injury, but would still be a fantastic total.
For defensemen - Quinn Hughes is pacing for 94 points compared to 90 for Makar, but with 5 games more. Hughes will probably win the Norris, but I think Makar is still within striking distance.
