you're complaining after you already know you have a first. imagine if the flyers didn't trade walker or couldn't get a first and you found out this deal was on the table a few months later. you'd be upset they didn't pull the trigger for the first, siting reason after reason why taking on RJ would have been fine.

I actually prefer 2.7 x 4.

if you have to bury him in the minors the last year it’ll probably be like a 1.5MM cap hit. And you saved 1.8MM in cap space over the first 3 years.
