NTC lets them waive him and go down to the Phantoms and get used to the team he'll be coaching in 5 years. NMC would have let him say "hold-up. I'm not letting you waive me."

The Cap is going up around 4.5 mil next year. Sounds like its gonna go up for the next couple years. We don't give a shit about cap space, it gives you added flexibility if Danny figures out that he should be weaponizing that cap space.
