Impossible. Wayne Simmonds played in those games. He isn't NHL caliber yet. Worst forward on the ice pretty much every game
Don't like that they sent him down before the game against his brother. His parents were in town to watch him for the first time according to

What a mismatched hat and jersey mean for the Leafs’ Nick Robertson, Stars’ Jason Robertson
Tuesday night could be the first time the brothers appear in an NHL game together.theathletic.com
This kid can’t catch a break.
Sigh of relief, he’s back. The entire Jets organization is trash regardless. Don’t think I’ve seen so many intent to injure plays from a single other franchise.
The Robertson brothers played against each other...not sure what everyone is referrng too???What?!
Who's call was that, that's ****ing ridiculous.
First game against eachother in the bigs, and he gets sent down the night before? Brutal.

Iceman changing his name to SaucemanWow, random bump.
Yes I know he was called back up, and played; I was at that game.![]()
welp, same ol' Nick.Wow, random bump.
The problem is he's trying to do too much. I hope he gets it figured.
Ugh these stats are hardly going to translate to the NHL.Robertson will be fine, if he needs a full year in the AHL that's okay too as long as he continues to get better. People get prospect fatigue here pretty quickly as they did with Liljegren, but Robertson had the 10th highest goals per game in AHL history for a 20 year old last year (just 28 games).
Even if he just repeats that rate as a 21 year old he would be amongst the top 20 in G/GP all time for a 21 year old. He's a good player, may just need more time to round out his overall game.
