You were right about Cameron Butler being a point a game player. You were right about Niagara being good this year and the owner/GM not being a bad pick for the job

I wonder if the team or fans will do some Yu Yu Hakusho theme'd stuff at games (Kuwabara is the name of one of the main characters of that show).
Unfortunately for Niagara, they can’t claim defected players in back to back seasons and receive the comp pick. So, whomever they draft will need to report. Of course, they could trade them in the trade window but no comp pick.London will trade for him if NIA want to pick him
Yes, less than half as productive with Oshawa after the trade, 0.45 PPG with Oshawa last year.Butler had a dreadful 2022-23 season after GU’s made his post. Actually went down in numbers while in OSH.
It's too bad it took them this long to bring in someone with OHL coaching experience. Not a bad hire. Not a slam dunk but I think it is a shot in the right direction.
i think they wanted to only being in guys who were going to work for penuts. thats what you get when you pay jr b prices, you get jr b coaching. It's too bad it took them this long to bring in someone with OHL coaching experience.
IMO they really should have kept Jody Hull around as a guy with head coaching experience in the OHL + experience coaching many of these players last year.
It's obvious that despite Niagara normally having one of the highest attendance numbers in the league, the new owner wants to be a low budget team. Niagara doesn't need to pay a GM since the owner is the GM and none of the coaches had any experience above Jr. B (before Kuwabara was hired). Not to mention that the IceDogs scouting staff is half the size of most of the other OHL teams.i think they wanted to only being in guys who were going to work for penuts. thats what you get when you pay jr b prices, you get jr b coaching.
Addition by subtraction. Eh Rodger? Not to mention that the IceDogs scouting staff is half the size of most of the other OHL teams.
the scouting team previously was awful, I’m not sure this group will be any betterIt's obvious that despite Niagara normally having one of the highest attendance numbers in the league, the new owner wants to be a low budget team. Come early, park on St. Paul Street (east end). FreeThinking about coming to the game tonight. Where is a good place to park?
Thanks in advance for any help.
The forwards are fast but have a tough time to finish Defence is weak wish it bit of. surprise because they are veterans Jesus probably the best of tge bunch . Rosey the better goaltender but has been nursing an injury but his back. Flores gets burn on rebounds. Flores started last night expect Rosey will start tonight.Hopeful for a good game for both teams tonight. What do we expect from Niagara? Strengths/Weaknesses?
