They showed them after the fact. They did not show live preseason games.
which is why I find it interesting ESPN is though.
I’ve watched every Rangers preseason game live on NHLtv for the last several years.

They must not be live because they didn’t offer them. What market are you in? Maybe it’s different per market.I’ve watched every Rangers preseason game live on NHLtv for the last several years.
I think ESPN + is doing because it has the rights for the preseason games that NHL network doesn’t have liveThey showed them after the fact. They did not show live preseason games.

That was televised, I think between the NHL Network games and ESPN+ We will get the same thing

They started blacking out games on MSG a few years ago for us out of marketWhich is stupid just let us watch the games on MSG. I’m not even in market. Makes no sense not to offer them.
they were live. I’m in Charlotte but I can’t imagine that would matter. Sounds like user error.
I think it’s only for the preseason with Nhl network, the ESPN+ package will be exactly like the NhLTV package. You were right beforeA quick look says this is true. Every televised game that’s not on ESPN+ is on NHLN. Not giving me a good feeling about the regular season for that
just looked up on the ESPN+/Reddit forum. Preseason games were offered last year due to shorten season but did not provide them seasons prior.

I can't find that... want to link it?
Are we even sure NHL network will be getting any regular season games because remember that network was owned by Comcast which is owned by NBC.I'm worried that, unlike last year, the NHLN games will be blacked out on the out-of-market package. It did work that way before last year (not every time, but most of them). That's still the thing we don't know, but if ESPN+ isn't showing anything that NHLN is showing the pre-season, then they probably aren't in the regular season.

For those who stream their games and not watch thru Center Ice(cable, satellite), the only games that you will have to figure out is the TNT gamesThat expired at the end of last season.
NBCUNIVERSAL still owns 15.6% of NHL NetworkThat expired at the end of last season.
I don’t think they know who operatesCool, that doesn’t tell you who operates it though.

I see both listed through the browser, but not the app yet. Also, I'm using the EPSN app. I'm assuming that the app is going to let you choose which broadcast you'd like once the game is live. That's how NHL.tv worked. You hit the game, and choose your broadcast option. They weren't listed separately.
You're awfully confused about this whole situation, and I don't know why. No one has ever said you can sign up for Hulu and get everything. The only games available on Hulu without an ESPN+ subscription are the national games that are ESPN+/Hulu exclusives, which the game tonight is not. For example, the Black Friday game against the Bruins will be one of those. I'm aware that ESPN+ is available as an add-on to Hulu, but you'll still need an ESPN+ subscription to do that. I don't know how exactly that works. Frankly, there's no reason for anyone to be using Hulu unless they're the casual viewer who is only going to watch the national broadcasts. That doesn't apply to any of us. Use the ESPN app.
Regarding NHLN, like I've said... it's not clear if NHLN games are going to cause blackouts. They didn't last year.
Hulu isn't the only way to get TNT, ESPN, or ABC. There are a bunch of other streaming options to do that. Sling, YouTube TV, DirectTV Stream, etc, etc all carry them.
NO! I can’t figure it out, I have Center Ice but can’t find the Washington Boston game anywhereWellness check on @EdJovanovski. Have you figured out your situation?
That sucks. For WAS-BOS, it's a non-exclusive NHLN broadcast, so no local blackout here in DC.NO! I can’t figure it out, I have Center Ice but can’t find the Washington Boston game anywhere
Anyone watching on AppleTV having a sync issue with the A/V?
