It's definitely on the ESPN app. I only have Hulu through my Spotify account and that setup doesn't allow to you have add-ons, so I can't really help you.

For some reason, the ESPN+ listings on the Hulu app are limited. If you want to see all the ESPN+ offerings, you have to go to the ESPN app and selecct ESPN+ in menu. I am talking to Hulu about this issue right now. it's really annoying. but going to the ESPN app to access ESPN+ is what you have to do to watch the games. It's not avail through Hulu do to details of streaming agreement it seems. When it comes to NHL, the disney bundle seems to merely be a billing convenience and a discount. But the games are going to be all over the place depending on what channel is playing that particular game. If it's on MSG or regional sports net it will likely be in ESPN+ only. If it's a national game on TNT, ESPN or ABC then it's Hulu. And if it's on NHLN and it's a preseason game, and you're out of market like I am -- i think you just can't access the game.

Took me just a few minutes to signup for the ESPN+, download the app the the amazon fire stick & activate the code.

We'll see how stable the feeds are and availability.

Watching in South Carolina transplanted from NYC.

As long as you have average internet. The feeds are stable. I’ve had espn+ for awhile and I’ve only had issues watching on my phone with no WiFi.

Worth mentioning that Hulu live has a seven-day free trial, so if you aren't planning on making an investment for the six exclusive national broadcasts that aren't covered by ESPN+, you can at least watch the first Capitals game that's exclusive to TNT.

Am I interpreting Tawnos' chart correctly? It doesn't seem right that the New York Rangers' season opener is a TNT exclusive that you won't be able to watch on NHL's flagship streaming platform

Yeah we have HULU but I don't see the point in all this if I can't stream the pre-season or other games that aren't national. We added ESPN+ today.

I used to get the NHLTV package... yeah it was a pain when NHL network aired the games because that isn't available streaming which is archaic @ best but at least I knew that the money I spent bought... well... SOMETHING

wait, are you saying you see both home/away feeds for the games on ESPN+? Or are you saying you just hope to see it? Because I don't see that in the app

I see both listed through the browser, but not the app yet. Also, I'm using the EPSN app. I'm assuming that the app is going to let you choose which broadcast you'd like once the game is live. That's how NHL.tv worked. You hit the game, and choose your broadcast option. They weren't listed separately.

You're awfully confused about this whole situation, and I don't know why. No one has ever said you can sign up for Hulu and get everything. The only games available on Hulu without an ESPN+ subscription are the national games that are ESPN+/Hulu exclusives, which the game tonight is not. For example, the Black Friday game against the Bruins will be one of those. I'm aware that ESPN+ is available as an add-on to Hulu, but you'll still need an ESPN+ subscription to do that. I don't know how exactly that works. Frankly, there's no reason for anyone to be using Hulu unless they're the casual viewer who is only going to watch the national broadcasts. That doesn't apply to any of us. Use the ESPN app.

Regarding NHLN, like I've said... it's not clear if NHLN games are going to cause blackouts. They didn't last year.

Hulu isn't the only way to get TNT, ESPN, or ABC. There are a bunch of other streaming options to do that. Sling, YouTube TV, DirectTV Stream, etc, etc all carry them.

Subscribing the ESPN+ is the exact same thing as the NHLtv package in a different platform.

You're interpreting right. It's no different than if NBCSN was carrying the Rangers season opener.

You could not make this any simpler, perfectly said.
TNT/ABC/ESPN/ESPN+Hulu games are basically the games that were o. NBC/NBCNetwork

Yeah, the only thing at the moment, is that the out-of-market package isn't programmed into ESPN+ yet. I don't know when that's going to happen and it's possible that those of us out-of-market are going to miss a couple of preseason games whether they're on NHLN or not. I do expect (and we all should) a couple of hiccups as they get this off the ground.

For those with Directv, the price just came on my statement for NHL Center Ice $59.99

From what I can see it looks like if the game is on NHL Network it will not be on ESPN+, like tonight the Rangers are not on NHL network but they are on ESPN+. The game on the 10/6 is not on NHL network but they are on ESPN+. The other Ranger preseason games are scheduled on NHL network thus not on ESPN . I hope this helps and also I do not think NHL network will have regular season games on them, but not 100%

The games that are currently listed as ESPN+ are different than the games that will be on ESPN+ as part of the out-of-market package. They're more like what ESPN+ has been doing the last couple of years... showing essentially one or two games a night. Otherwise, there would be 9 games listed for tonight, not just the two.

If you go forward in the schedule into the regular season, you'll see basically nothing is there for any regular season games that aren't national ones. That's going to change. If they get the out-of-market package up and running before pre-season is over, then we'll get even the games that aren't listed as ESPN+ right now, barring any NHLN blackouts which aren't clearly happening.

I think it’s more that ESPN+ is just giving some preview games because don’t forget most preseason games aren’t televised. We are used to seeing most preseason games because of MSG.
I would not put too much about the schedule being out because the Center Ice schedule isn’t even out, the NHL does this every year with the schedule

Pretty sure NHL.TV in the past provided all preseason games that were on the local and regional networks across the U.S. and Canada.

Anyone try out the desktop version yet at plus.espn.com?
