Used to get the full pre/post on NHLTV - now it’s final buzzer and cut to the “event has ended” screen. But hey, who cares about the user experience as long as the league gets that sweet sweet cash, eh?

Pretty disappointed so far. ESPN+ is a big downgrade relative to how I used to use NHL.tv (unless I am stupidly missing something) specifically the inability to watch games the night of unless you catch the stream live. Frequently I would buzz through a game at 9, 10 pm after other work/family commitments were handled and that isn't possible with ESPN+.
The lack of "Play from Start" is a similar issue but less frustrating.
Does anyone know if there's a way to go back and re-watch complete games on either ESPN+ or the NHL app now?
You used to be able to re-watch old games on the NHL app.
Does ESPN+ work if you live in the NY area but your cable company decided to take away MSG?

Add in that ESPN+ won't give you the games on NHL Network alsoBumping this thread. I just moved out of market and am sifting through the info here. Right now I've just been using streams, but would prefer to easily access the games on my TV. From what I read, if you get the subscription to ESPN+ you'll get access to all the games other than those on TNT. I see that there doesn't appear to be pre or post-game which sucks, but I'm fine to settle as long as I get access to the MSG feed for live games.
Does all of that sound correct?
Is this only for NHL Network-exclusive games or even games that are simulcast on NHL Network?Add in that ESPN+ won't give you the games on NHL Network also
I don't think they do their own games... when they air an entire game its always another local partner's broadcast (like MSG).Is this only for NHL Network-exclusive games or even games that are simulcast on NHL Network?
