Bad to worse in St Louis, though this should help them with their Bedard chances.

The Bruins and Pens are wearing retro Red Sox and Pirates uniforms pregame for the Winter Classic and it’s terrific. 10/10.
wish both teams would lose this match
Since one of these teams has to win, just like in an election, a Broons win is the lesser of two evils. And potentially helps the Caps in the race for a playoff slot.Yeah, I'll settle for a Bruins win in regulation if we can get that at least.
Not NHL related but we don’t have a WJC thread so I’ll talk about it here. Bedard is a freak. I’m not sure if he’s a center at the next level but he’s a special talent. What an individual effort to win it in OT last night.
And the Swedes have looked really uninspiring. Not sure what’s going on there but they’ve looked passive and disinterested most of the times I’ve seen them.
Semifinals are Canada vs USA and Czechia vs Sweden. I think USA is playing better team hockey than Canada so outside of Canada having a ton of PPs or US goaltending falling off completely, or Bedard putting on an individual effort for the ages, the US should advance. They look like they’ve hit their stride. And I’ll take Czechia who has looked like the best team in the tournament so far over Sweden. So now that I’ve chosen US vs Czechia for the final, it’ll be Canada vs Sweden.
Let’s hope he goes out west. I’d be ok with San Jose or Arizona. San Jose fans have suffered a ton of heartbreak over the years and Arizona needs a superstar to keep them from being the league’s laughingstock any more. Wouldn’t mind him landing in Vancouver either, or Anaheim.Just ridiculous. Kid is going to change a franchise.
What do you mean by making a lot of sense?Philly fans are *certain* they won’t get him. Chicago also makes a lot of sense

Him going to Arizona would just increase the calls from some NHL fans that the Coyotes are Bettman's baby, shouldn't be an NHL franchise, and should be moved to a Canadian city.Let’s hope he goes out west. Arizona gets Bedard, Matthews leaves Toronto to go home when he’s a UFA, the Coyotes run the West for the next half decade after that with it culminating in them winning the Cup and AM34 cementing his legacy as a hometown hero. Butthurt ensues all across Canada.Him going to Arizona would just increase the calls from some NHL fans that the Coyotes are Bettman's baby, shouldn't be an NHL franchise, and should be moved to a Canadian city.
If you have any thoughts towards the NHL “placing” these players in key markets, to help the overall “health” of the league, then Bedard goes to Chicago or Philadelphia. What do you mean by making a lot of sense?
