Yeah, Pens are just as cooked as the Caps. Old team that can't keep up with younger legs in a 7 game series.
Multiple guys on both sides with uncertain futures. Backstrom, Malkin, Letang could all be done for their respective teams.

It would be funny to see Trotz get his revenge on Reirden... but on the other hand I love Trotz and I couldn't stand to see him coach that team

i doubt any is coming here to talk shit espeically in their situation. and they are EXPECTED to do better than us too. They finished with a better record the last two years than the caps. They are out of excuses, and facing a huge salary DUMP
i would prefer trotz go back to the west. i've had enough of facing him in the east. seeing him in pittsburgh would be really bad

Trotz in Pittsburgh would make me cry. But I doubt it happens, if only because it's quite possible Trotz gets hired before they make the decision about whether or not to fire Sullivan. If Trotz stays in division, I imagine it's because Philadelphia blows his socks off with a ridiculous offer.

Was rooting for the Rangers, my sister is a Connecticut transplant who loves the Rags, and I can't stand Pittsburgh more than any sports city in the country. I was so happy to see them blow a 3-1 lead to boot. I was happier that they lost than any win over the Panthers, I'm self-aware enough to know that's sad, but I don't care.
The Rangers aren't that good, I feel like we'd match up well with them but who knows. The Hurricanes will win in 5 or 6. From the East, pulling for Florida at this point. Any team that comes out West will be the preference. No hate to Tampa, just tired of them winning lately. Pulling for the Stars but they remind me similarly to the Caps.
