Missed opportunity, here. You absolutely should have taken Shirley [Liverwurst].
@Striiker Also, technically your John Cleese pick should be invalid per the category description. Your actor has to have appeared in a film BEFORE 1968. Cleese did some TV in 67 but his first film was in 1968. Not my call though. There was a perfect #Lore pick just sitting there for you on actor too, not that you'd know because I very much doubt you've ever seen a silent film.

I can't believe Ava Gardner wasn't taken before and he lucked into her

We start the day with @Rebels57 on the clock, @CanadianFlyer88 on deck, @Chuck Downie on the lido deck, and Milord on the lido defective deck.

Speaking of which, I am sure you can all imagine how familiar I am with strings of defective picks - I am used to them, and it isn't difficult to blow them off after a 10- or 20-second vent to myself, as long as they are accidentally defective. (The deliberately defective shit is ... less digestible.) What is harder to stomach is the complete disrespect for history, and the history of film in particular. It makes me stew, like a stew - just slowly boiling meat. My brain really can't handle it very much. Luckily, Asnito trying to pick a dog for actress when that dog was taken literally second in this entire phase happened before Striiker started Googling. Had he done it afterwards, this current laptop would be in pieces. Though I have to say, his classic actor was an inspired pick. For once. Literally once.

I'm going to go ice my skull.

My wife found one of her mice dead on a hot heating pad. It had been there for hours. Speaking of stew.

So uh. I had to check with Cap about a loophole pick, which I did. He answered me promptly, as always. Then I just never made the post.

Sadly, these unbelievable jerks opened up about a 15 Minute walk from our last place in NYC. If you're ever in Manhattan (or apparently DC and Arlington now too), there's a Pakistani bakery called Mah-ze Dahr that makes the best Cinnamon Buns you've ever tasted. My wife is on a multi-year mission to try to replicate them exactly, which is both the best and worst thing that has ever happened to me.

She wasn’t taken? I feel like I made the same hitlers wife joke twice this phase.

Has she tried using more cinnamon?

By the way, the John Cleese pick is fine. Even though it says they have to appear in a film before 1968, I obviously meant in film or on TV - I just f***ed that up when I wrote it.

I still firmly believe you should get nothing of their work post-1968. These cop outs fills me with rage, Cap. R-a-g-e! Classical means classical. It's not like we're choosing Team Silent Film Actor/Actress. This isn't that hard, and there are a million options. Grrrr.

Also, I need a Team Foreign Language Film and Actor/Actress categories. Besides m'lord, that means not English.

Excuse me, but British English and Australian English are foreign languages.
