Mrs. AJ ordered these for dessert once, and they were an amazing choice. It's just a shame they aren't on every dessert menu. I am grateful to her and @Captain Dave Poulin for co-creating this loophole.

I don’t have an actual issue with John Carlson, other than he should’ve been a Flyer. At the 2008 draft, the Flyers struck gold with RJ Umberger abusing Carey Price and got Columbus to trade us a first round pick, where we took Luca Sbisa (whose handling I had vigorously taken issue with but I lauded the pick). The Flyers were desperate for top-end defensemen, there would’ve been no problem taking another one, however Paul Holmgren decided a better plan was trading the pick that could’ve been Carlson for Steve Eminger (and a 3rd round pick who we didn’t bother to sign), who was never good as the Caps weren’t expected to give a qualifying offer to him. This was mainly because Holmgren was petrified of operating within the open market, consistently making trades for players prior to free agency, many of them I’ll-advised. Just remember stuff like this when people tell you he was a good GM when there were a bunch of moves he didn’t need to make that would’ve made him a very good GM, such as allowing a division rival to end up with a player that they’ve been looking for for themselves for as long as most of us have been alive.

It's interesting that Young Perv spent the weekend fondling fish dicks. I spent Sunday watching fish dicks do the exact opposite. Talk about a trash team full of scumbaggery and zero skill. That f***ing team SUCKS. And they get away with murder. It's like deja vu all over again. This is how they used to be officiated when people paid attention to them. The difference is that team was loaded with stars - dickhead stars, but stars all the same - this version seriously isn't a playoff-quality team, although I guess you could make a case for Strokin' Sorokin carrying them. It's bad enough watching them cheat and get away with it, but the flashbacks to Chuck's admiration for this slop is really unsettling.

He also seemed to play well against the Flyers in the 90's whenever he got the start over Brodeur. I could be wrong on that. It's been a while.

Hopefully we can stop talking about Aaron for a while. I don't know if I've mentioned this before, but that family SUCKS.

I finished that football anime series "Ao Ashi" yesterday. It was only 24 episodes, so it went quickly, but there should be a lot of episodes to come in the future. It rules. I'm also onto the last season of "Ace of Diamond," which makes me kind of sad. At the same time, it is really exciting to see what will happen, because it also rules. I also started a new K-Drama called "Our Beloved Summer" yesterday, and it rules. It's so nice when the lead actor isn't someone you want to punch in the face wearing brass knuckles.
So what I am saying, basically, is that if you just follow the plan I lay out in here, you too can watch TV that rules. It's up to you.

I suppose I have to grab someone from those Penguins teams, and a good one is someone who rode Sidney Crosby’s coattails, not even those 3 Cups (Kunitz has 4 after all), but also to an Olympic gold medal as well. And I didn’t like those Ducks teams anyways.
The Thrashers had the beat, why couldn’t they have just given him more than 2 games?

He’s everything I don’t like about the game — play style and culture — rolled into one. A perfect Flyer, a real bully. He has some born again clean cut routine now, and while I don’t begrudge people trying to change, he comes off as attention seeking and insincerely sanctimonious to me.
