I don't know about you, but I wouldn't f*** with Jo-el. I heard that he killed a li-on once. Have you heard that?

We start the day with @DancingPanther on the clock, my literal genetic bro @Hollywood Cannon on deck, Biff on the lido deck, and a bottomless cistern of idiocy on the lido afterdeck.

Because of the lack of Korean dating shows on currently, I had to re-jigger my schedule and find something to fill in for the evening block (except for Fridays, when new eps of "I Am SOLO" come out). What I slid in there is this baseball anime called "Ace of Diamond." It is said to be the best baseball anime of all time (which is certainly true), and it has a shitload of episodes. That's what I really wanted, something epic that could carry me through the spring until the REAL shows start coming back.

And it rules. The protagonist, Eijun, is a southpaw pitcher in his first year at this prestigious high school known for its baseball tradition. Like all the best anime, it delves into the stories of all the characters, deepening your attachment to both them as individuals and the team in its quest for glory. Eijun is silly as f***, which is great, but it's also exciting to watch him develop as a pitcher. It's exciting to watch all of the characters as they level up. You even get glimpses into the motivations and struggles of the opposition, which just makes everything that much more substantial.

I'm also addicted to this soccer anime called "Ao Ashi," and it rules hard as well, but it only has 24 episodes so far, so I am trying to watch it gradually. @Striiker is going to kill me for watching these before I watch more important ones, but I can't help myself at the moment.

In the future, people may look back and consider this pick prophetic considering what will likely happen in terms of managing the Flyers franchise. I am prepared for despair.

We're going to select someone that will straddle the worlds of what Cap is trying to do because that's what the Quackverse is all about.

We're going to select Fred Gwynne who starred as Herman Munster in the mid 1960's.

He also many years later played the thorn in our Official Team Lawyer's side. For those of you that may not remember who our Lawyer is, it's Vincent Laguardia Gambini. Gwynne played the straight shooter Judge Chamberlain Haller in My Cousin Vinny.
