All beer is piss.

I’m the only non-piss drinker here.

After I pick at the bottom of this thing, we will start the day with @Asnito on the clock, @mja on deck, @Rebels57 on the lido deck, and Milord's dumb ass on the lido afterdeck.

On dog duty again, so I'll make mine quickly.

I am picking the best tree in the world. My (BLACKPINK IN YOUR) area is going to be stuffed to the gills with these.

See, I was worried at first that I was coming up today and I was almost ready to send my pick in to Cap. I was afraid that I was going to hold things up because I was taking the boys to an amusement park for the day, but then I remembered that Defect II: Electric Boogaloo was ahead of me and that I need not worry, for his pick would not be timely.

Incidentally, a good time was had by all, save for the fact that I saw a great many really awful tattoos, apparently in preparation for my annual trip to le pays des mauvais tatouage. There was a lot of dubious work on hand, but by far the worst was the lady with a confederate flag on her shoulder blade with I think a fox's head in the center? Is that a racing thing? It was right next to another tat that read simply (in a juvenile script): "She keeps me wild." Notwithstanding the objectionable content here, and that this woman has long since moved passed anything wild or at least I very much hope that this is the case, the worst part was that it was just a really shitty tattoo. It looked like a child's drawing done in marker, but viewed through the other side of the paper.

Friends, I have not been genuinely angry in years. This became a source of pride because my father's temper is nuclear and it passed on. But I control it because I've seen the effects of it all my life.

Long story short, we have to put a dog down tomorrow, unplanned. Since I semi-retired, I picked up a zero frills gig basically for the benefits. When I explained the situation, the response was that they expect me in about an hour after the appointment starts.

I made a man tear up without raising my voice one tiny bit. Zero regrets. I suppose it's consulting time now.
