Rempe dummied again. For a "throwback" guy who's only on an NHL roster to fight, he sure is pretty bad at it. Guy can barely handle middleweights- he would've been eaten alive if he played 20-30 years ago.

Arber Xhekaj is a HammerBoy, like me. Loved watching him with the Hamilton Bulldogs, so good as a player and tough as nails. Rumpled Rempe, as expected.

I knew he was a good fighter and a big dude but I thought he was more of like a 6'2", 220 guy... I was admittedly surprised to see his actual height/weight.

Friedman said he can't recall another case like the hit on Poehling where the on ice refs did a video review of a hit, deemed there to be no penalty at all, but then DOPS later handed out a decent sized suspension. Very unusual and controversial situation.

Florian is a pretty good player too. Montreal was smart to draft him after how well Arber turned out.

Friedman said he can't recall another case like the hit on Poehling where the on ice refs did a video review of a hit, deemed there to be no penalty at all, but then DOPS later handed out a decent sized suspension. Very unusual and controversial situation.

I mean it's simple. The refs had a chance to call a penalty on Garland for 10 straight seconds, and they didn't. As a direct result of their negligence, 2 dudes got cross checked in the mouth.

Refs will get off Scott free though

I think EDM had the puck? So it would be delayed penalty anyways? SDP podcast said any penalty in last X seconds in the game should be a penalty shot. Not that I agree, but then you're either asking for this or them blowing the play dead and stopping EDM attack.
