As much as it will hurt Colorado this year, if you can't get a player signed before his contract expires, you have to move them. That's what smart teams do. Exhaust all cost control value and sell them as a premium rental.

They're chasing Centers only. They will miss on a lot of players both in the league and the draft because it.

Add Tulsky to the list of GMs I will never forgive the Flyers for passing up, right up there with Zito. Sportsnet had just posted an article about how a Rantanen contract could be an issue for the Avs.

Losing Necas is tough, but it's swapping him for a stud in Rantanen, who now gets to play with another Finnish star, and gets them out of the Kotkaniemi contract.
