Friends, I have not been genuinely angry in years. This became a source of pride because my father's temper is nuclear and it passed on. But I control it because I've seen the effects of it all my life.

Long story short, we have to put a dog down tomorrow, unplanned. Since I semi-retired, I picked up a zero frills gig basically for the benefits. When I explained the situation, the response was that they expect me in about an hour after the appointment starts.

I made a man tear up without raising my voice one tiny bit. Zero regrets. I suppose it's consulting time now.
Sorry to hear about the pup Jojo. You gave that dog a hell of a life.

Very happy to hear about that second part though. Well done, that guy deserved those tears.

Frankly I am shocked that this ELITE vegetable was not a 1st round pick.

FOG Team Vegetable - BRUSSELS SPROUTS

Engineered by humans in the Middle Ages rather than being a naturally existing vegetable, these bad boys of the produce world got a bad rap for far too long because mechanized agriculture in the 1960's added an overwhelming bitterness.

Over the past 20 years, scientists have been able to pinpoint the specific compounds that caused the bitterness that ruined their reputation, and since then Brussels Sprouts have slowly returned to their former glory.

My personal favorite dish, that I make every Thanksgiving, is Maple Bacon Brussels Sprouts.

Steamed brussels can suck my ass, but if you get some caramelization on them, they are a completely different animal.

Yeah that is most definitely not the correct way to cook them. I do find that par-boiling them first is a good idea if you're baking them though. Softens up the middle this way they will cook all the way through before burning the outside.

No that's the wrong response. That guy needs to be beaten up.

Also. Infinite condolences. Agh.

Ugh. I’m sorry about your furry family member, Jojo. And I definitely don’t feel sorry for that person you told off. Situations like that tell you all you need to know about someone.

Thank you, Defect! Inflated Defect! Fetid Defect! Bloating Defect!

I am not f***ing around. I am going big. We are hitting a home run here, and we know it. It's a grand slam.

I take, as team nut (not a legume, like certain people have taken), PISTACHIOS

Nothing needs to be said. They're perfection. A little puzzle-food where the key is themselves. Splendid.

Just before we get too much further down the line, we are going to have to allow some leniency with this cursed nut category. I can't explain it right now because it would pick-tip the shit out of it, but like ... exclusive nut rights are wiggly. So for example, that moronic penis gets all the peanuts like he picked, right. So you couldn't pick all the peanuts. You get me?

If you have an idea and want to ask me before you pick, feel free to DM anytime. Just know that I will be busy watching "Love Village" and might not answer right away.
