I feel like this was a bigger bug than it seems, I know a ton of people that had something close to this within the month. I had a three week cough that was nagging but minuscule except when I lay down to sleep the cough was constant and keep me up for ever.
Negative for covid.

When I say bigger I mean more widespread not dangerous as in spreading fear and whatnot.
Yeah, I know I had the mucus part, which is to be expected when we live in close proximity, but what she’s going through now isn’t something I experienced.

We were talking to our friend a couple weeks back when he came over and he said he’s had a bout with the mucusy part a few times this year but would just get some antibiotics and rinse and repeat after a month or so so it’s definitely common.

She’s just really not in a good place and not knowing what it is so therefore not getting anything to treat it stinks.

One of my favorite musical artists has been off the board for an eternity, as a Team Babe. And not just anyone's Team Babe -- my soon-to-be housemate's Team Babe. But bands and artists can be duplicated here, and duplicate we shall.

The Honolulu Ghibli hit play on our Team Cover Song II: "Doin' Time" by Lana Del Rey (original by Sublime)

Now you and I share Lana, @DancingPanther , in addition to The Coffin. This positively tickles me pink.

The original sounds very 90s (not that it's a bad thing), very ska punk. But Lana's slows down the original a tick; fittingly, it has a darker, more dreamy, aesthetic. I like to think of the original as being for the daytime, and the cover as being for the nighttime.

This weekend, the crowd at Anfield once again showed what a 12th Man can really do, especially when the home team is playing against 12 men (11 Man City players and a referee). They were so loud that you could feel the vibrating decibels through the television. Simply magnificent.

Suck it, Abu Dhabi, you f***ing filth.

Make up picks...

We're going to turn our attention to the Team Sports Team Fandom and head towards the great lakes region of the US and select the most dedicated fanbase out there despite their constant failures. They're lovable losers but we hope to bring them out to the Desert and give them a better life as winners.

We're talking about the Buffalo Bills.

Shout out to my sister-in-law.

She didn't even get antibiotics?

Ah, ok. I'm still disappointed in her treatment. I'm sorry you're dealing with this crap. She needs levaquin or something
We went to an ER at a hospital where I have had nothing but bad experiences with so I feel you there. They have missed multiple things over the years with my dad and I haven't forgotten but it's the closest hospital so that's where we went.

Well this was a lie.

She didn’t get to see the doctor. She never got a call back from them.

I’ve just been chasing TV around the house for the last few hours. I’ll make my picks when he’s asleep tonight.

Little background on what’s going on. We had an upper respiratory issue a couple weeks back where both of us were engulfed in green mucus. I got mine out pretty much every morning and didn’t have much issues on the day to day. I still have a slight feeling there when I breathe deep though. She had it much worse than me though. She couldn’t sleep for a week straight but it got better.

Enter Saturday morning and she had a massive headache and just general nausea. She was down bad but rallied after getting some meds in her and was pretty much good the rest of the day. Sunday she woke up feeling like shit and by mid day she had major pain in her lungs and back so I said let’s go to the ER.

Negative for COVID and did a panel for respiratory stuff and that was all negative. They said “you’re clearly fighting something but we don’t know what so here’s some cough medicine and if you don’t feel better in a couple days come back.”

She hasn’t gotten any better.
Sounds like some kind of respiratory infection, but lord knows, I’m no doctor. Hope she feels better asap, but if not, get her to a different doctor pronto.

She's going to see her primary tomorrow (as advised by the discharge papers) to get a look over but she had a call into seeing a pulmonologist but they are into December now for when people can be seen but then they said that since HCette went to the ED they transferred her to a phone number where she left a message and they said they'd call back. They haven't yet.

Oh yeah, @DancingPanther she had a 100+ fever on Sunday and is still at like 99.4 while on prescribed Motrin today. Have no idea what that means but figured i'd include it.

Please make the drive next time. I had the same thing with my mom and they sent her home, even after her family doctor called over there to have her admitted because she gained 40lbs in a month.

They called me at midnight saying she just had a UTI, a day later I took her to a different hospital and within an hour they found that only 40% of her heart was working correctly.

Don't go cheap/easy when it comes to your health.

The thing is that it's a very good hospital, hell it's one that HCette works/worked at. I just have personally had bad experiences.

Did Penn Medicine buy it? The one we went to for decades was a very good hospital until Penn Medicine came into the picture.

I was checking into it and found that ER doctors at Penn Medicine hospitals are supposed to see 18-25 patients a day where as Lankenau is 14-20. That was the difference between the two hospitals we went to.

Pulmonologist sounds great. I wouldnt be surprised if she gets admitted for IV abx for a few days. I also wouldn't be surprised if she gets augmentin or levaquin or something

Also give her Tylenol if you haven't yet. Consider alternating Tylenol and Motrin every 6 hrs
