Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Most either aren't old enough to have seen it or just don't remember it if we are old enough, but Scott Niedermayer was not unlike current Luke Hughes. Particularly in his one full season pre-Lemaire, but still for a bit in the very early Lemaire years.
This is the NJ Devils I know and like. We got two needed points. The guys will feel good about themselves with this win going on break.

What are you complaining about? If you live in Montreal you’re basically guaranteed to see a win if you go to a Devils game.
Think of the poor Devils fans who live in Winnipeg and only get to see the Devils stomped like a narc at a biker rally. And they have to live Winnipeg on top of that!

I hope you aren't talking about me. I'm not in here every game, but I was in here for the win today and posted earlier, after a foolish poster had the nerve to make a crack about Laf being paid only $400k less per than Bratt.
Sometimes I'm not watching NJD games live if the Rags are playing simultaneously, but I always get to them on DVR.

Vitek had 3 shutouts in 22-23. I thought he only had 2 and I knew Schmid had one. But he apparently had 3. So that's 4 shutouts that year, 2 shutouts both from Blackwood in 21-22 and Kahkonen with the lone Devils shutout last year.
So we have as many shutouts this year as we did the last 3 combined.

While they won, they're still playing like shit and needed to goalie a bad Montreal team. They still have the same massive issues they've had for a month now where the defense has been shit and they're not generating more than the other team.
2 points is great, but this is a massive problem that has still yet to be addressed by Fitz.
You shouldn't need a goalie saving 3.92 above expected to beat a bad team.
