Every time my turn comes up and I have a look through the categories, I am reminded how awesome and historic this phase is. It RULES.
We start the day with
@Young Sandwich on the clock,
@BernieParent on deck,
@Hollywood Cannon on the lido deck in his car on his way to his wife's office, and Starberry on the lido afterdeck with a pair (phrasing).
I woke up 1 1/2 hours early today, so that happened. That means today is going to be f***ing useless, since I will fall asleep over and over. It is cold as balls outside, so at least there's that. You know why I woke up so early? There are two reasons. One is that I zonked out like a bastard yesterday afternoon, so there wasn't much sleep left to be had. The other reason is that I found the full second season of "Transit Love" fully subbed. There are no words for how exciting this is. "Transit Love" is one of the very, very best and most real of all these real reality shows from over there, innit. And all of the girls are at least scrumptious, if not downright luscious, and one of the guys is this hilarious, adorable puppy kind of dude, so the casting is good.
But here's the thing. At the end of episode three, which I watched at the ass end of last night, they all got drunk, which is fine. But the one luscious girl stayed up until like 5:30 a.m. and said she wasn't going to sleep because she had a meeting and wouldn't be able to wake up in time. She called the producers to ask if she could go home so she could make the meeting, and it seemed like they said it was OK. The last scene was of her walking out of the house slowly and unsteadily (because she was half in the bag, innit). It was cute, but also a little worrisome. So that episode ended with a preview of the next one, and in that preview they showed that she was going to be eliminated for "breaking the show's rules." For f***'s sake. She is a good and important member of the cast, and this could really f*** up the whole show. You have to wait such an extremely long time for new seasons that you just can't afford to have something like this happen. I'm really anxious to see what comes of it, and that's a big reason why I couldn't sleep, even though I won't watch it until later.
The moral of the story is this - don't ever let anyone tell you that something isn't real when it is this REAL.
