Like Milord's dog, I have had alligator before, and like that good puppy, I also loved it.

I also saw a crocodile swimming about 10 feet from our boat when we went to a restaurant on the water in Thailand. I didn't like that as much.

Speaking of crocks, here we are still floating around the bottom of the order. We start the day with @GKJ on the clock, @Lord Defect on deck, mja on the lido deck, and pit on the lido afterdeck. @JojoTheWhale can go when he has time.

I watched so much sports yesterday. I started in the morning with some dire Premier League "action" that never really took off. Then I put on Michigan and Penn State, and that was OK. Then I had dinner and passed out almost immediately afterwards, so I missed the first period of the Canucks game, which was very stupid. I switched back to catch the end of Alabama-Tennessee, and that was pretty cool. Then I watched the end of the Astros-Mariners game, which means from the ninth inning to the 17th. As much as people want to say it was "an AMAZING game," I actually think it might have been an indictment of where baseball is right now. I like pitching as much as anyone, but it really felt like a failure of hitting more than a triumph of pitching. Then just when I thought the day of perfect shit would end with a Yankees win, the Guardians came back and bitch-slapped them with three runs in the ninth, which ruled. Today is going to be another long, tense affair, and I am not looking forward to the stress.

While I had all those games on, I also churned through "The Bureau," to the point where I only have two episodes left. It's awesome, and I am going to miss it.

Who is going to be my sidekick? Why, someone who can do whatever I need whenever I need and do it perfect.

From the television show The Good Place, I choose for Team Sidekick: Janet.

Font of all knowledge, can conjure any object, teleportation, warps reality. Great sidekick.

@Striiker , kick it.

Monday morning, know it is hard to be young and challenge everyone - do you know how it feels?

We start the week's proceedings with @Striiker on the clock and @Chuck Downie on deck, but I almost typed "Striiker on the cluck and Chuck on the duck." You know why? Because I am surrounded by fowl out here. I wish I had some actual ducks, though. Sco ducks. @BigToe is on the lido deck and ajgoal is on the lido afterdeck.

F***ing Tawm looks like a freakish skeleton, the cheating vegan c***. Anyway, yesterday was so great. You may be surprised to hear me say that after last night's Eagles game, but what happened in the morning made everything else fine. I just feel good when Liverpool are playing well, and they put in a titanic performance yesterday against a gang of dirty oil cheats and a referee who is both incompetent and bent as f***. I don't expect you to believe that I am objective about this - even I don't believe that - and I won't bore you with the evidence, but it was f***ed. When you overcome some bullshit like that, it feels really tremendous. Better than an 80s nude scene? Possibly.

I’m going to make my cover song II pick since I’m sure it will come up as I make my 12 hour drive home and it’s in my head this morning.

@Beef Invictus please pray for me as I go through Virginia this afternoon

This afternoon? Oh boy.

Depending on what time, consider hopping off on VA-207 to US-301. Take that into Maryland, then take Rosewick Road around Waldorf to dodge the lights. Then MD-5 to the Capital Beltway, and that to 95.

It will be the same amount of time, probably, but more relaxed.

Is there a lot of lights? I know there’s lights, but a lot of them? I’m already delayed because my family is a pain in my ass. I think it’s going to be about 7pm when I get around DC

Compared to rush hour 95, the lights on 301 are very tolerable. Except in Waldorf. Never go straight through Waldorf. The secret back route is life.

That's if you go that way. Like I said, it's rarely a time saver. Just a more laid back drive. Plus they opened the new and less terrifying Nice Bridge last week.

Please ensure you fulfill my lunch demand

There was the rest stop outside Richmond that a vending machine with actual meals but it wouldn’t take my money
