Picture, if you will, a pistol. Now picture a city. Picture the pistol pointing at the city and the city vanishing.

Picture this same pistol pointing at, oh, [RANCH]. Picture the manhole he's standing on exploding and... You get the picture.

Our team laser gun has a sense of humor, which is more and more important nowadays. Point it at a target, and the gun decides how the target dies. Perhaps a giant shark flies through the air and bites the target in half. Maybe an airliner crashes into the target. Apparently the gun gets less inventive the larger the target is, causing cities to vanish rather than fall into a localized black hole, but that's acceptable. It's also pretty aptly named for how we feel most of the time.

Our body of water is here, and we picked it for several reasons. First, as you can see, it allows us easy access to both Seoul and Tokyo (and surrounding areas).

seaofjapan-01.png

Secondly, the water is full of seaweed and salmon (among other seafood).

dsm-salmon-seaweed-wrap-shutterstock_606647666.jpg

Third, it is home to a bunch of cool animals, including dolphins and seals and sea otters, not to mention dwarf sperm whales. But two in particular are important. First are the sables in the Russian areas of this sea. Sables are fellow weasels, so we want to protect them and hang out with them.

A-Sable.jpg

Even more important are the endangered species known as Iriomote cats. They live on Iriomote Island southwest of this sea, nearer Taiwan, but we will load our submarine with a group of scientists to establish a safe colony there and increase their numbers until they are no longer endangered. And then we will bring them home and hug the living shit out of them.

@Beef Invictus how did your wedding go?

Was a blast. Had several people look at the weather and go "buttttttt it might gonna be raining and 20mph winds!". Oh, you means a normal fall Appalachian weekend? That's ideal for me. The nostalgia was strong. I expected a huge wedding and it wasn't so now I'm feeling pretty smug and honored to make the cut.

The Child had never met the bride before today, but made it her mission to befriend her and dance with her all night. It was adorable. The Child thinks it was the greatest thing in history. She loves a dance party. We had to drag her away

A serial killer, eh? That's a toughie -- and we won't loophole it. We don't condone murder (duh), and a real life serial killer is right out. So, we'll turn to the world of fiction. But even then, we need a killer with a code. Someone who doesn't hunt for sport. Someone who doesn't delight in sadism. Someone who, self-admittedly, "detests murder, unless absolutely necessary."

The Honolulu Ghibli positively identify as our Team Serial Killer.......Tom Ripley

I'm sure many have seen The Talented Mr. Ripley, based on the Patricia Highsmith series of novels, though his book characterization tends to be colder than that. The most insidious thing Ripley does as a character is make you sympathize and want him to get away with his cons and murders. He's a suave sophisticated pull-yourself-up-by-the-bootstraps psychopath, a nobody with a need for the finer things in life at any twistedly justifiable cost. But his amorality is a survival mechanism -- not a predatory excuse. So, don't get in his way, give him a lavish Quackverse villa, and there'll be no problems. You might even take a curious liking to him.

The Talented Mr. @Asnito , grace us with your presence.

"Size matters."

That old adage has been a black eye to our community since its inception. It's a personal preference, as bigger is not always better for everyone. This selection should help finally put that to rest.

This tiny little bad boy can fit right in the palm of your hand and still deliver astonishing amounts of damage. In fact, everyone in the Sexpos organization carries one on (or in) them at all times. Go ahead and take a guess where I hide mine.

"The selection of Team Cover Song II for the Tampa Bay FireSticks is an oddity because neither the original nor the cover performers are close to our favourite bands. And yet the song fits the new performer like a fine leather glove.

"We hereby select Come Together (Beatles) as performed by Aerosmith."

"This was also a serendipitous pick, as we were watching Air America before this round of picking began. The soundtrack features this little beauty and we remarked to ourselves what an excellent cover selection to spotlight Steven Tyler's 3-layers-of-gravel voice. And then a couple of short weeks later, we got to put this selection into reality."

"Now, if anyone in this draft has walrus gumboot, Ono sideboard, and is a spinal cracker, it's @Hollywood Cannon."
