Bad trade for Vegas IMO. I know I know, they can just LTIR Weber and they get out of paying for Dadonov for the year.

But this trade will force them to deal with the headaches of LTIR for the next 4 years. They couldn't properly manipulate it just a few months ago when Stone was getting healthy after they had added Eichel. I see a lot of sloppy roster management by them for a while.

Top pp in a 6-0 game. I have no problem with it but it’s Tampa. Don’t poke the bear.

That pp goal by Makar was nasty. They fed the puck through him as he QBed the pp and then the Avs change it up and he drifts down by himself and beats Vasi glove side. Classic rope-a-dope.

Nichushkin is riding a shooting percentage bender right now, but he’s such a long-proven possession monster and defensive presence that even if he does get overpaid in free agency, whoever gets him is still gonna get a really useful piece.

Whoever gets him is going to get a player that is playing above his head right now. But keep going I guess. No surprise from you.

The Avs skating as a whole is incredible. Can't believe how slow they're making Tampa look.

He’s not playing above his head, he’s just getting a bit luckier as far as the puck going in. Shooting luck /= performance. He’s doing all the same things he’s always done as far as pushing possession and generating chances.

Whoever gets him should obviously not expect THIS level of goal production, but should expect the goal differential of whatever line he plays on to improve noticeably.

I think Dach will turn out to be a good player, but I couldn't imagine him being able to hold his own, like Byram is, if he's on that Avs team right now or even down the road. Yikes.
