This one is known as the Cristall ball…So, in this hypothetical scenario, is only Chicago armed with a crystal ball at the draft? Or are the other teams also allowed to use this magical device?
I hope whats his name is a great player for you guysMan I hope Demidov busts
Well 2 things.Chicago could of drafted Ivan Demidov second, Cole Eiserman 18th and Cole Hutson 27th in the 2024 NHL Draft! They could of had a future top line with Bedard, Demidov and Eiserman along with an elite offensive defenseman in Hutson instead of Levshunov. This bad draft will really slow down their rebuild. What do you think?
EDIT: Chicago could of also drafted Gabriel Perreault 19th and Andrew Cristall 35th in the 2023 NHL Draft! As a Montreal Canadiens fan, I'm upset that they traded their 31st and 37th picks for Alex Newhook when they could of drafted Andrew Cristall with one of these picks instead.
Taking Gajan ahead of Augustine and Fowler is the big mistake if they were so laser focused on a goalieChicago's big mistake was passing on Cristall(among others) and taking Gajan. Eiserman and Hutson have a long way to go before being trusted by a nhl coach
Not sure the hawks are good but this thread is dumbNah, we're good.
Thanks for your concern though.

I like both of the recent guys but doubt that either of them top these 4 guys in terms of 2 way play and it's not even really close.Just the thought of Bedard and Demidov together.
They had the potential to be this generation’s Sakic/Forsberg or Fedorov/Yzerman.
If you're going to troll, at least do it well.Chicago could have drafted Ivan Demidov second, Cole Eiserman 18th and Cole Hutson 27th in the 2024 NHL Draft! Everyone losing their minds that Chicago didn’t pick the Russian.
Meanwhile, they have a different Russian just destroying the KHL (Kantserov). They’ll be just fine but thanks for the concern.
I'm a fan of cristall but i have a difficult time automatically projecting him to be better than kantserov. Who as a 20 year old in the KHL is by far the best scorer on his team, which has a pretty good record.EDIT: Chicago could of also drafted Gabriel Perreault 19th and Andrew Cristall 35th in the 2023 NHL Draft!
I’ve been stat watching but haven’t actually watched Kantserov play, he does have insane numbers. Any idea how his numbers improved drastically compared to last year? Is it usage?Everyone losing their minds that Chicago didn’t pick the Russian.
