Pre-Game Talk: Kungs vs Oil

I would love to see Pickard slam the door on the "Kungs" and give us a little more confidence in our netminding...and see my favorite Skinner get another goal or two.

Watching the McDrai-less Oilers has actually been one of the best things about the season, just based on how surprisingly good they've looked. Not that I would, in any way, ever, want that to be a permanent thing.

Chances of us leap frogging the kings now resilient slim and none so we are pretty much locked in at 3rd now. So just rest EVERYONE now until playoffs....

Litterally 0 to play for. I mean sure flames Canucks have a chance to catch us mathematically but that's pretty slim ....

I really wanted to see Drai win the Hart and McDavid get another 100-point season, but I can't agree more...

I wonder how many people actually make money betting on Oiler games? What an absolutely wild season. I just hope it has a happy ending.

No McDavid, Draisaitl, Ekholm, etc. and playing the Kings at home where they are 28-4-4.

Oilers 2.40 and Kings 1.60 on Bet365. So Oilers are given like 40% odds.

Bettors have a lot more faith in the Oilers without their best players than some who think they would be one of the worst teams in the league without them.

I don't really understand the comparison. Bunz' game never translated from junior to pro. It had nothing to do with throwing him to the wolves.

More so getting at wanting to give Oliver more of a chance to succeed with his first start. To me, putting him in a bit of a pressure cooker game like tonight, would be more setting him up for failure.

I think good players get up for big games, can't imagine he wouldn't love the challenge.

Listen to the interview knob says new injury then spector asks if thats good news and knob goes on to say anytime u reinjury its a good thing

Thats not what he said.

The sentence directly before the one you’re talking about, he (Knoblauch) very clearly stated that it is a new injury. The sentence you’re talking about was very clunky and he kind of mis-spoke, and you’re misinterpreting it.
