Ok thats 2 years for sure of having a top 10 team in the NHL with the ability to draw it out longer based on making correct moves. They are in a better position then 80% of the nhl right now. Hopefully the hawks can get to a point anytime soon where they have legitimate championship hopes.
As I said, it's always sunny in LaffVille.

I understand your point but imagine if the Hawks kept flaming out in the first round from 2009 until 2015. Think about all the success we would’ve missed out on. That’s what happened in Toronto. They have the right core pieces but nothing else. Sloppy, excessive, and desperate roster construction.

Probably in the minority here as a neutral observer but I’m rooting for Tampa.

Eh, I won't hate it if either team wins, but TB's spoiled at this point for me, so I'm pulling for the Avs to see someone new win.

And hey, keeps our three championships in short order distinction exclusive to us if that happens, too (Pens' six year gap doesn't do it for me in this boastful sense).

As a Blackhawks fan in his thirty's that grew up a huge hockey fan I can't root for the Avs. All my friends liked the Avs or Wings.

Really fun team to watch though. Just hoping for a fun series.
