I love Hockey fights. The worst development in the last 20 years is the visor. Hockey is a brutal, visceral, manly sport. Let's not let the p***yfication of society. I know people get hurt, concussions, Blah, Blah Blah, but there's not much more exciting than when one of your team's players stands up for a teammate. Man up!

Lol.

Yes, because guys want to keep their eyes. They should forego their eyesight for the viewing pleasure of you.

As if a visor has ever prevented guys from fighting in the NHL...

I feel sorry for you folks who have to live through the ESPN coverage. Sportsnet commentators/analysts are very good. Chris Cuthbert does the play-by-play.

Yet another chintzy penalty to TB.

No idea why the NHL went with a network that hasn't covered hockey in like 2 decades. Then said network just decided to throw a staff together of "hockey names", basically with like no broadcast experience. It's pretty much unwatchable when I've tuned in.
Money for 1.

They're also getting their best ratings pretty much ever, the NHL has never been more relevant. Having games on ESPN & TNT has been amazing, because every bar has those channels on anyway all playoffs from airing NBA.

I’ve complained about it before but man this ESPN broadcast of the SCF is so bad top to bottom it’s just so frustrating.

I miss Doc and Eddie.
So many big saves, big hits, posts, near-goals during the entire playoffs that have zero emotion behind the call or aren't called at all. Doc and Eddie are certainly missed.

I'm aware of the money angle. That wasn't really a question that needed an answer. It was meant to be a criticism of the coverage.
