It will be very difficult without their top 2 centers.
That Strome injury was a strange one indeed. It looked like he was hardly touched and went immediately to the dressing room in obvious pain. They'll miss him, no doubt. This game will be a test of how much of Gallant's tenacious, blue-collar style of hockey has rubbed off on his players.

What's the deal with Rangers fans chanting ash hole like it's a 2002 episode of Monday Night Raw?

Love the first round picks for him too but I’ll always root for him. Unless he joins St. Louis.

Tampa finds a way again. Even if they don’t play their best, they manage to stay in it. They have some cockroach like tendencies not unlike the Hawks during their cup years.

If I’m down one and I firmly have possession I’m all for pulling the goalie with 90 or so seconds left. Anything beyond that and I’m normally not a huge fan.

If I was a coach I’d take my chances 5x5 rather than the near certainty of giving up an eng and sealing the loss.

You are three times more likely to score 6 vs. 5, as opposed to 5 vs. 5. A team ties the game when pulling the goalie around 15% of the time, on average. Better teams will be more successful, obviously. There's no argument to be made for NOT pulling your goalie.

You create 2 on 1 and 3 on 2 battles when you pull your goalie, increasing your chances quite a lot that the other team won't win those puck battles. Which increases your scoring opportunities, as you will get more shots on net. You're pretty foolish if you don't pull your goalie in the last min or 2 with your best players on the ice.

Is that against all teams or against good teams? Regular season or playoffs? How do the numbers correlate relative to the 5x5 and/or pp success (or lack thereof) the team experienced already in the game? How does that number control for strength of opposing goalie?
