I’ll never think pulling your goalie with 2.5+ minutes left is a good idea. Games get out of hand and from a fan’s perspective it looks like the coaches who do it are saying “f*** it just pull him now we’re probably going to lose anyway”. It’s been a trend for the last 5 or so years and if Q was doing it during our Cup runs I would have been furious.

What a loser.

And yes, he was found and arrested.

His head hitting the ground was probably worse for him than that sissy sucker punch. What a stupid way to become a felon and ruin your life. Moron.

Man, only a misdemeanor for that seems like a joke. That could've easily gone very badly, and getting knocked out/hitting your head on the way down is no joke.
Well, that is how the NY DA does things now. Great place to go and commit crimes and get away with it.

The victim will probably sue for a buttload and I hope he gets it all.

Look, I punched a hole in my wall after THE GOAL in 2014.

I could never imagine being angry enough about a sports game to sucker punch someone in the face. (obvious exceptions for self protection, blah blah blah)

I broke a window that night

(because I locked myself out of my cousin's apartment I was housesitting)

Cale Makar has replaced Ovie as my favorite player in the league. I’ve never seen a Dman do what he does in the 14 years I’ve been watching hockey. I hope he keeps this kind of career up and I think he has potential to be a generational player akin to McDavid, Ovechkin, Crosby, Malkin, Kane, and Karlsson.

Same. Him and MacKinnon are my favorites to watch. The intensity Mac skates with is just insane.

Have to say, I was impressed with the crowd reaction after the sucker punch. Buncha people checked on the guy, they called security and pointed that loser out real quick.
