After the combine, there’s a real possibility that Lindstrom will be higher than Demidov in there ranking and i’m all for it. Whenyou add everything to rank players beside skills, Lindstrom has the advantage.

-Multiple live viewing.
-Multiple conversation during the year
-2 dinners with Habs scouts during the year
-Another diner this week with HuGo and Bobvov
-Center
-Size, Skill, toughness and speed combo
-Have a inside source with Gallagher’s dad to know his background
It’s the NHL, I’d venture to say Lindstrom is ahead in every team’s rankings.

Smaller skilled Russian winger or big physical Canadian centre? We know exactly what these GMs covet.

I warned you suckers back in January they weren't going to be interested in Catton to save you from the disappointment.
We both told them the exact same thing. These players just aren’t valued that highly by NHL teams. And when you look at Gorton/Bobrov together, it’s obvious the types of players they target.

Not sure there's any reason for there to be a Russian factor in Demidov's case. What are the odds he never comes over? What are the odds his development is compromised?

Wheeler's Athletic hockey podcast today saying they think Demidov is going second.

See his thread on TwitterX for full test results.
Timmins had to excuse himself to his room for 5 minutes after watching Beaudoin.

I wouldn’t say it’s a Russian factor of coming over, it’s the old school thinking of Russians not wanting it as much as Canadians. I think it’s engrained in these old white men.

Yo have to be a phenom like Bedard or Kane to be 5’10 and go top of draft.

Thought I heard Demidov is in Miami to see some specialist for the injury he got in the playoffs.
Lots of very suspicious information on him a bit everywhere. The private combine for instance is said to be in Russia. Would he need a private combine if he was able to go in Florida?

That big Swedish dman that the Habs showed interest in would be worth a shot if it's the 3rd, or later, but I just saw he's listed at 55 on Bob's list previously. Be interesting to see if he moves up

Badinka? He's gone by our 2nd rounder. That's weird he's so late on Bob's list because he's in that 20-40 group for majority. I like him at #26, but I have like 10 players I like there.

NHL Central Scouting has him ranked #14 on final European list. That's a late 1st round - early 2nd ranking generally.

My bad, I only saw the interest in Eliasson

Eliasson is definitely a “unicorn” as Bobrov likes to put it. I don’t see much potential myself, but a 6’7 defender with a September 9th birthday, they might be banking on a late bloomer. The NCAA route he’s taking is intriguing. You can really let him play 3-4 years.

But again, I don’t see anything but a defensive defenceman. 3rd round, okay I guess.

Oh , Celebrini is 5.11 3/4......he is not 6.0...not top 5 material...
We get it, You love Catton.
I understood that on the 67th time you posted it.
Doesn’t change the fact that it is how drafts go and GMs value size...and Celebrini is 25lb heavier.

Yes. Can't go to the NHL combine if you are under contract with a KHL team. (Technically, it would be possible to go, if the team was to give permission but that's not how they roll.)

I don't care what GM wants. I am doing my list of how I see it...and if you love Lindstrom good for you....Me I value Iq over size and I will never be shy about it!!!

Oh, that makes more sense. Montreal has also interviewed Badinka, who is a big, strong skating RD.

Eliasson is LD. I wouldn't take him before 4th round. He's basically similar to Edmonton's Desharnais, big, hard hitting D-man, who can pk, but zero offensive upside.

If we keep all our draft picks from 26 through 3rd round, then that's 4 picks. I would take one RD and 3 forwards.

After that, it doesn't matter.

That's cool, everyone has their favorites.
I don't like when people are delusional to think they know more than a whole professional team of scouts tho, who have more info than we do...but that's just me.
(btw I like Catton but more around 6-10)
We can revisit in 5 years.
