I would be surprised if there was an "or Demidov" for any of the top 4 picks. This is a scenario like last year where the top pick was clear, then it was a group of high end players at premium positions. The Russian skilled winger will get the shaft in favor of defensemen and skilled players with size, especially a center. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a repeat of last year and even Montreal passes on Demidov.

Oh man, if Demidov is there at 5 and Lindstrom isn’t, I can’t envision Habs passing him up.

I know Sennecke is a nice story but man, Demidov too talented to pass up.
