Didn't know what all the Dorsett chatter was about. Thought it was for dropping his gloves at the end. Finally ventured to the wasteland that is the main boards and saw the gif. Are...we joking? That can't be suspendable. It just can't be, that's ridiculous.

whenever i go there, i come away thinking of the Chef guy in Apocalypse Now.

Good. Get him out of the playoffs. We don't need his antics nor do we need another target on our backs. I'm not a fan of that sort of crap. Nor am I a fan of the diving and embellishment crap. It all cheapens this great sport and drags it into WWF territory. But I digress. LGR!!!

Total defensive breakdown by the Rangers last night. If we don't take care of business in game 6, we are in serious trouble.

Blindside hit and with the way the series has gone he will definitely get a game or two. Probably one because he has no history.

Does Diaz replace him?
 
One more thought about "momentum" and the myth of how it swings towards the team that wins it's last game: last night the Rangers proved that it's just a myth.

Every game stands on its own once the puck drops.

The main boards are filled with militant posters, most cranky that their own team is out. They'd like nothing more than to scold you their with their superior hockey knowledge that is going to waste in the post season. But mainly it's just a popularity contest of which team and it's fan base is hated less.

Gotta say for the first time in a long time it ain't the rangers getting dumped on...says a lot about the Habs. ;)
 
Carcillo, Moore and Dorsett now have blown their responsibilities to their teammates in this series. If these guys don't get back to that playing for each other mindset we're going to have a bad time. A little tough leadership would be key right about now.

I think Richards and St. Louis need to dictate the tempo in game 6. They know what it takes to win a big clincher and they need to step up like the leaders they are.

[Playing coach here] I'd make sure Richards/St. Louis is on the ice for the opening faceoff Thursday night. We HAVE to get a good start.

FYI, I"m not sure if many know this, but Bourque got a major and misconduct for his cross-check on Dorsett at the end of the game.

Is there any punishment for Borque going forward? It was a major penalty crosscheck. Does it get reviewed by the league? Don't all major penalties get reviewed? Does he have to sit out next game? Since it is Montreal probably gets nothing.
 
We need a slo-mo gif of the Moore hit.

Call me old fashioned, I liked that he absolutely clocked a Montreal player in a game we weren't winning.
 
The DPS watches and reviews every second of every game. If they see something that warrants a formal review by committee, they do it. These guys sit in a room with a dozen monitors and recording equipment to look at plays from all different angles.

To me, it looked like a clean hard hit. Shoulder to chest.
