Hey guys, I hardly post here, but I like to read the forums for information from time to time.

I have been watching for almost 30 years now and I have to say this season has been the most exciting in a long time. In the beginning of the season I really did not expect us to even get this far after that extremely rough start.

I was very disappointed last night, but knew from the first penalty this was not going to go our way.

I feel after that embarrassing game, they will come back strong and win in game 6, just like they have done in the past after really bad ones. I am not worried, I know Hank is going to refocus and go into that mode where he just makes save after save.

I just hope our fans are extremely supportive and loud, I wish I can afford tickets or I would be there to really support them!

Is a major automatically reviewed by the league? Bourque has been cross-checking this whole series and has yet to be disciplined significantly. He had a nasty one away from the play on Staal last game at MSG that was just let go.

I think that was the kind of game Montreal was hoping for all series and they finally got it. The good news is all we need to do is take care of business at home and it's moot.

I think Richards and St. Louis need to dictate the tempo in game 6. They know what it takes to win a big clincher and they need to step up like the leaders they are.

Let's go Rangers! :yo:

He won't be, but if he does, Bourque should be too.

FYI, I"m not sure if many know this, but Bourque got a major and misconduct for his cross-check on Dorsett at the end of the game.

isn't that an automatic 1 game suspension?

As far as I know, yes. A cross check major is an automatic game misconduct and thus reviewed by the league.

Well, on the bright side, Kreider now has 10 points in 9 games. Crazy stuff. I wish he killed penalties too. Would be so dangerous to have that speed out there for the PK.

Henrik Lundqvist is 5-2 with a .930 save percentage (13 goals on 188 shots) in games after a loss this postseason.

Henrik looked sloppy on those goals as if he was tired.

I think they are tired, we need one more critical effort here to make it to the Cup. Really need the team to pull this together.

Hank said that sometimes getting taken out is good for the mind rather then taking the brunt of it...He knows he squandered the chance on his end but the defense was terrible.

Also, stop the penalties please

Alright Henrik, what do you want to be? Do you want to be the guy leading this team into the finals? Or do you want to be the guy that collapses deep in the conference finals. 1 time is coincidence, twice is a pattern. Don't make it a pattern

If the Rangers don't come out guns blazing and TAKE this game tomorrow, then they don't deserve to play for the cup. They should be embarrassed. I know they made a come back, but they played undisciplined sloppy hockey, this played right into Montreal's game plan.

Hank better be lights out tomorrow at home.

Everyone thought they were tired in after those few losses against Pittsburg...MSL's mother passes and they get a fire lit under their butts and came out flying the next 3.

LA sure doesn't look tired right now.

Technically the team did bail out lundqvist.

Talbot receives the loss because it got tied up, not lundqvist.

yes the team did. That's why I said the offense was not to blame. Coming back from a 3 goal deficit in less than a period, the goalie HAS to give the team a chance to win

Its a good point...

the loss was a team effort, although it seems to rest more on Lundqvist. They didn't have that jump in their step last night and Montreal did. A couple goals that Lundqvist probably would like back and the game gets out of control. Rangers come back, but they just didn't have it last night. Sloppy play in their end all night. Boyle had trouble clearing the blue line. McD and Girardi get split on a goal. Turnovers and trouble in the neutral zone. Ever been at a game and just not feel the energy? Ever play a game and just know it's not your night? That was the Rangers last night. Looked to winning in NYC too early. Oh, and MTL is not Lundqvist's favorite place to play...

That wasn't tired my friend. That was coming into the game as if their mere presence alone was going to win it for them. That was extreme over confidence. It was like the entire team forgot the kind of hockey that got them there.

The absurd thing is that Tokarski was freaking brutal last night, just as disgusting as Hank if not more so. That was a winnable game made all the more winnable by the fact their goalie was brutal. All the Rangers had to do was show up, sadly the Rangers didn't.

Its incredible how I knew they were going to be called a penalty in the first few minutes of the game.

The team was run-and-gun the whole time and it led to countless mistakes

“@KatieStrangESPN: NHL's Department of Player Safety will also be reviewing Derek Dorsett head-butting incident today.”

:scared::scared: How about all the embellishments from MTL? How about Bourque's cross check?

I thought I was watching a game from the 1980's. It would have made Emrick's annoying "waffle board" accurate. Something like watching this:

My sister (who was 8+ months pregnant, and due date was June 14th) texted me at 9:27 that the game was making her go into labor. At 11:30 I got a text from my brother-in-law that my sister actually went into labor. I think I have a Ranger fan coming.
