LOL and yet the media still constantly links BB with WFT

Holy schneikies, seismic shift in both college and pro. That's a hell of a 2 days. And Pete Carroll becomes almost an after-thought.
Was just thinking that yesterday...if you're Pete Carroll and you get canned you have about 20min to be the headline after 14 years in SEA, before Saban and BB just steal the spotlight from you entirely.

Did you pay the 120 bucks? And it allowed all 7 rounds?

It was on deep sale, $83, (coupon on their home page) but I plan to use it for my Fantasy team next year and drop Football Guys so its almost cost neutral to me.

7 rounds, trades and unlimited redrafts.

Turns out Sam Cosmi is the 5th highest rated guard in terms of pass protection. Thats Pro Bowl level. Wylie, Charles and Gates all stink like dog doo. But we already knew that.

Florio was juts making shit up, he had no actual basis for reporting we were interested in BB. Its what he does.

I thought Carrol was staying as an advisor, stepping up to the front office, no? Like not fired outright and sent packing?

Yeah, Cosmi is a keeper at RG. He may be able to slide back to RT if needed, but let’s hope that isn’t needed.

I think they can draft 2 more starters (2nd round), and add 2 starters in FA period.

I think that’s very plausible, and perhaps even probable.

It’s a soft landing. I’m sure if PC wants to take another HC role, he will.

Please, lord, let it be Peters.

The 49rs insider thinks Peters to DC is going to happen.

Peters resume is outstanding.

He has been a part of three franchises, and all three played in at least one Super Bowl during his time - 3 for NE, 2 for Denver and 1 for SF. He's been around/involved in building winners.

Ian Cunningham is no slouch either.

When his playing days were over, he transitioned to personnel under the tutelage of Ravens executive vice president of player personnel Ozzie Newsome.

Newsome hired Cunningham in 2008 as a player personnel assistant, a role he held for five seasons before becoming an area scout for the Ravens and helping them build their Super Bowl XLVII roster. He headed to Philadelphia in 2017 to lead the Eagles’ college scouting department. Cunningham moved up the ranks to director of player personnel, playing a part in the Eagles’ run to Super Bowl LII.

He has been with Chicago as AGM since 2022, so he was part of them fleecing Carolina last year.

It's not just Florio, though. I saw at least one other article citing ATL and WAS and it wasn't his.

I think the "advisor" job is a golden parachute. He'll get tired of it or immediately take whatever hc job appears.

Would never have been the case with Danny Boi in power

Just get er done, ASAP. Then hire Harbutt as the new HC, and OFF we go!!!!
"harbutt" wants full control.

If he is willing to work with a gm fine but I don't see it

Pete Carroll got full control and worked with schneiderman to dominate so I could be wrong.

If Jim Harbaugh is actually available and leaving Michigan, he would be my top pick. My gut feeling is we end up with the Lions dude. Either way we taking someone from Michigan lol

from article

Peters also worked with current Washington GM Martin Mayhew for four seasons until Mayhew came to Washington in 2021.
