Mayhew worked with Peters before so seeing Mayhew kept on would be hilarious. Not the GM but demotion to like head of scouting or whatever
I don't want MM's stank-ass breath anywhere NEAR scouting/talent/acquisitions. I hope he enjoys his Redskins SB ring, he earned it, but he needs to get the hell out of the building ASAFP.Mayhew worked with Peters before so seeing Mayhew kept on would be hilarious. The Marty's should have been fired on Monday
People really want this diva? They better not even entertain a trade of a million firsts with chicago for this
Giant. Red. Flag.
His dad, Carl, is a giant red flag that learned to walk and talk. Not quite Lavar Ball levels, but is always talking sh*t to the press.Giant. Red. Flag.

There’s been so much drama from CW’s camp the past year. I just hope his shenanigans don’t ruin our chances to at least get Maye.
Also, the Bears situation is actually pretty good, seeing as the roster isn’t terrible and they only have 1OA because of the trade. It’s also obviously a great city to be in as a star. Yea, their track record with QBs is pretty bad, but the same thing was said about the Bengals - but Burrow marched in there and balled out. If you don’t think you can do that, then you’re not worthy of 1OA.
It’s going to be an exhausting 4 months leading up to the draft, lol.

Whoa! Shouldn‘t mess with the value, but damn that’s ballsy.
If he slides to 2, we’ll take him….
Yea, don’t get me wrong - based on talent, CW is the #1 pick. I think he’s in a slight tier above Maye. Just have no idea what his attitude will be like.See Abro’s post above….the Bears are a shit show. Eberflus barely avoided getting fired.
I don’t know much about CW’s dad, but whatever and long as he’s NOT Lavar Ball. The guy will get paid within a set structure his first five years. He’s controllable. I’m not trying to sell him, but he deserves to go 1. If he was my kid, I would prefer he not play for the Bears next year.
I could see this go to a Giants or NE trade for #1….was not suggesting him here unless he slides to #2.Yea, don’t get me wrong - based on talent, CW is the #1 pick. I think he’s in a slight tier above Maye. Just have no idea what his attitude will be like.
Also, there has been plenty of scuttlebutt that he doesn’t want to go to DC either. Ya know - the Commies just cleaned house, have a terrible roster, haven’t developed a QB since the Reagan administration, and they’re trying to play VA/MD/DC off one another to build a new stadium - boy, what a shitshow!! Who would want to play there?
I have no idea what this kid wants, and I can appreciate a father trying to protect his son. However, it’s been a while since someone pulled the Eli/Elway, and yet his camp has been threatening this for a while. We’ll have to see how it plays out.
The Cards aren't taking a quarterback though. They're gonna build the offensive line and make sure Murray doesn't get hit and stays upright. The Cards get the rough cut. Big fall after those top 3. Daniels is good but they got Kyler
As for Caleb Williams, the immaturity on full display should scare every Washington fan. Just draft Maye and move on from the headcase. It's been 20+ years with Snyder. Start fresh and bring in low maintenance guys.
This is what we hired Peters to decide. Fully on board with whatever his decision will be. I’m not scared of the perceived immaturity if Peters wants him. still would not spend to trade up….OK, full disclosure -- I may or may not share the same HS alma mater as Caleb. If I did, it would be a huge thrill to see a kid from my school be the ****ing man, boss hog QB. (And OMG, the bomb to beat DeMatha at the gun in the WCAC championship was the greatest play in HS football history, don't bother arguing, because you're wrong.)
I think he's probably the best QB prospect in the draft, and may well have the best career.
But there are too damned many RGMe-like factors here, right down to the Richard Williams-father situation. A new regime doesn't need to start with all that drama.
Now if you'll excuse me, my soul has to go throw up in its mouth.
