Careful. There are more than a few people on the Bruins boards who have noticed Jack struggling with slurring his speech. And it does not appear to have any indication that he's got drug or alcohol problems. More like constantly tripping over his tongue or a slight slur.

IF -- huge emphasis on IF - this turns out to be the result of a stroke or the start of a degenerative nerve disease you are going to look like a real piece of shit. Even though I highly suspect that 1) you are not, and 2) you don't mean anything bad or really nasty.

But, we live in a world where you get no quarter and people get hyper reactive to the slightest offense. If Jack ends up down the road having a medical problem, who's going to look the bigger ass? You or Jack. Fingers crossed for Jack it's just aging or teeth issues or something relatively benign.

If Servalli or Dreger want to get outraged and on their soapbox there is a LOT more nasty shit going on with NHL players, owners, and management than fat jokes that are in poor taste. But that's takes some work. This was just a sycophant layup they jumped on.
