New Jack Edwards Controversy sounds like a pretty cool name for a progressive rock band.
I don't have any desire to see Jack Edwards canceled for stepping on whatever current politico-cultural landmine is de rigueur today.
I would like to see his ass fired for being a terrible broadcaster, and when it's time for NESN to give their reasoning, they explain that it's because he's a terrible broadcaster. That's the real crime he's been perpetrating for years now.
Bruins fans have defended him for ages, in the face of his bias and his low brow schtick, but even they've had to admit that he's slipping from even his low perch for the last 2-3 years. He's in his twilight years on the job.
Some see it coming and know to leave gracefully, on their own terms. Jack might have to be pushed out.

I'm a big fan of minimalist commentary as a rule but spending that amount of time trying to think of ways you think are funny to insult a player, perhaps not that.
He’s sounded like this all season, unless he’s drunk every game I highly doubt it. More likely is that something happened to him in the off-season and now he is having issues with his speech. He’s not exactly young.
Which- for the record- would makes Frank Seravilli by far the biggest asshole in this entire “incident”
