Reaves will be busy cleaning up the mess. If you thought Domi and Bert ran around much, just wait and see with Reaves in the background.

What realistic pieces would you be looking for from Seattle?

Hard to say to be completely honest. A few routes to take with them but I imagine for 8 years of Nylander, you could probably at least get their 1st, 2nd and a prospect like Evans to start off. Evans is close to NHL ready with a lot of good tools. I would push very hard to see if they can budge on giving up Wright considering he had a very mediocre season overall. If they don't budge, then I could settle Goyette as a prospect, he's a good one.

Bjorkstrand could work out instead as a Nylander replacement. Only issue with Bjorkstrand is that you don't save much immediate cap space.

Wright would be my first priority in return. They could add a bit from there but he would have to be in the deal.

Yeah I do think a lot of the Klingberg being the "worst defensive defensemen" in hockey analytics are based on him getting absolutely shelled on one of the worst teams in the entire league last year. He will hopefully be able to be deployed a lot more to his strengths on a better team. Keep him away from heavy defensive zone starts and feed him PP time.

I've defended him a lot since yesterday and i don't want make him seem like a defense stalwart, but the environment a player is in has an impact.

Would absolutely love to see a line of Knies-Domi-Bertuzzi play a couple of shifts together in a game. Talk about a high end pest line

Domi is an upgrade on Kerfoot in terms of offense and grit .. but a downgrade defensively. I still make that swap though.

Could actually see Domi playing with Tavares .. those two might blend well
Domi did play with Marner in Jr. as well but I don’t think it went well.
There are definitely options now.

I would give this a like but i cant lol. Hey mods whats going on here

Assuming Domi is coming in, it's to play 3c I think.

Many pencil him in on a top 6 wing, but there's no way we are comfortable with Kampf or Holmburg as 3c, with a fully capable Domi there.

Bertuzzi - Matthews - Nylander
Knies - Tavares - Marner
Holmburg - Domi - Jankrok
Reeves - Kampf - mcmaan/Robertson

I would like him playing with Tavares but that leaves a ? at C on the 3rd line.
I kind of like Domi - Tavares - Jarnkrok as a line. Domi is a playmaker that Tavares needs when Marner plays with Matthews.

Then Knies - ? - Nylander becomes a problem (assuming Nylander is still here) because who do you put at C there? Holmberg or Kampf?

This is all assuming that Bertuzzi - Matthews - Marner is the 1st line.

Just saw Acciari is gone. Our best bottom 6 player off to greener pastures. Swell. Great off-season so far. Round of applause for Pizza Boy.

Would you rather have Acciari at 3yrs $2 million AAV or Reaves at 3yrs $1.35 million AAV?
I'd rather have Bertuzzi. Did Accari even want to stay? Word is Keefe is not impressive and too rigid. Reeves protects our stars' and can take Simmonds place. Losing ROR was the stinger but he wanted out once Keefe came back.I still think he will be fired.
