Durant isn't signing with the Nets.

He's responding the Woj and others trying to link him to the Nets.

Pay attention to the timing. It's Nets related cause he never dismissed any of the rumors about him going to the Knicks for months now. Nets suddenly make a trade and media try to link him to the Nets, then this respond.
I mean this the same guy who hid from the media a whole week after Porzingis was traded. The when he decided to talk said he don't know who Porzingis is.

Durant's agent Rick Kleiman, deleted a tweet last night that read "try to keep up". Most seem to think that it was a response to the Nets trade.

That short video from the all star break of what looks to be Irving trying to convince Durant of something, now makes sense. Durant was not buying what he was selling.

Nets: Irving/Butler or Harris
Knicks: Durant/Kawhi or Durant/Davis Outside chance of all three.
Honestly, Harris would be amazing on the Nets. Plays the exact position where they need help and doesn't need the offense to run through him. Also, about the same age as the rest of the guys in the core.

Not sure how much I like the idea of swapping DLo for Kyrie, however. Also, there are some rumors the Nets would go DLo-Kyrie, in which case, they'd HAVE to move some of their backcourt talent to upgrade/gain depth at the 4/5.

Can also see a scenario where AD winds up in Brooklyn, though I'm nervous about the cost.

Pretty sure Kawhi is going to either Toronto or LA.

I've heard the Knicks do have a shot at Kawhi. Most people forgot but they were on his short list of teams he wanted to be traded to. Also Cris Carter knows Kawhi's uncle (who happens to be a Knicks fan) and he's been dropping hints for a couple of weeks now, that he wouldn't rule out the Kawhi to the Knicks. But I agree, I think he's headed to the Clippers.

Knicks fans still have the nerve to throw shade at the Nets?

Laughable.

No big free agent has even entertained the Knicks' since Amar'e but the idea of KD or Kyrie picking Brooklyn over NYK is unheard of?

Stop
Dude, the Knicks have been horse poop for 2 decades and still guys like LeBron have conversations with other players about the only thing that would make a given moment better is to have it happen at the mecca of basketball at MSG.

The Nets are not the Knicks, they may have a competent team but they are still nobody. The Nets have no fans, they're not much different than when they were playing the middle of nowhere in the swamps of the Meadowlands, they might as well still be the New Jersey Nets. No top tier A+ free agent is signing to play for the Nets it's just never going to happen it would be the dumbest move of their career because they would not be able to maximize their exposure and would lack the status they should command.

Players leave teams like the Nets, not the other way around

Um, okay.

Clearly it's true because you say so, and the actual arena sellouts at the end of last year, the ratings for the Philly series, and the current rumors among NBA insiders are all "alternative facts."

Have conversations?

With whom?

He was a FA twice and didn't consider the Knicks

and yet none of them come here and we're still shit.

I'm cautiously optimistic about this off season. But in no way would I be shocked by the Nets ending up with a killer FA period, and the Knicks ending up screwed. Not in the slightest.

Knicks have been a pile of titanic shit forever but I hang my hat on the fact that Lebron likes playing in MSG from time to time lol.
