There's no way that will happen with Masai Ujiri. Guys like Siakam and Anunoby would be our best players. No need to tank to find these players either. They picked better players at 23 than we did at 8.

While I totally agree with u on Ujiri being the real deal, I think you're underestimating what a blow Kawhi leaving would be to that team. Marc Gasol is 34. Lowry is 33. Siakam will likely win 6th man of the year this year. It's yet to be seen how he'll look when defenses don't focus on Kawhi and Lowry. And Anunoby just averaged 7pts and 3rebs in his 2nd year in the NBA...
And most importantly, it's been heavily rumored Ujiri is leaving after this season, most likely to Washington.

I don’t see how Kemba leaves that deal in Charlotte. He’s leaving 80m on the table to come to NY.
I don’t think a lot of these guys are truly open to hearing this stuff out. I think Kawhi is going to LA. Butler back to Philly. Not sure what 4 come to NY/BK to be honest. Could be musical chairs

At this point, I think Kawhi stays with Toronto. It'll either be LA or Toronto anyway I think. Not sure he'll go to the Knicks or Nets.

Nobody cares about the Nets. No free agent worth anything is signing with Brooklyn on purpose, it would be career suicide. It's hilarious that some think Kyrie would sign there

Durant isn't signing with the Nets.
He's responding the Woj and others trying to link him to the Nets.
Pay attention to the timing. It's Nets related cause he never dismissed any of the rumors about him going to the Knicks for months now. Nets suddenly make a trade and media try to link him to the Nets, then this respond.
I mean this the same guy who hid from the media a whole week after Porzingis was traded. The when he decided to talk said he don't know who Porzingis is.
Durant's agent Rick Kleiman, deleted a tweet last night that read "try to keep up". Most seem to think that it was a response to the Nets trade.
That short video from the all star break of what looks to be Irving trying to convince Durant of something, now makes sense. Durant was not buying what he was selling.
