This is exactly what I was wondering.

If there's no increased visibility of LIV and the pandemic equipment boom slows down (which there are signs manifesting) then this could become an issue.

If you believe the published speculation, LIV will be on Fox/Fox Sports soon enough.

I think it’s up to the manufacturers and the individual players to come to an agreement in each of these instances.

Not that impressive. They have unlimited Saudi government funding. It's kind of pathetic, actually. Every other sport charges the networks, they're going to have to pay for it.

They kinda have to. If they want marketing, then they spend money on it. Not different. Just what needs to be done, if they want precious network time slots.

Only in an attempt to force jump start it sooner rather than later…..they don’t have time to wait for various tv partners to materialize organically as the product develops.

They also don‘t really need to wait for the product to develop. They have the players and they have the events. They just need publicity and eyes on the product to gather more interest and fans.

What do you mean? I thought their YouTube broadcasts received tens and tens of views…? ;)

I'll have to track it down but WaPo had a great article that really summarized the health challenges. Imho he's done. He's had a rib removed and muscles in his neck removed to try and fix the issues he has. It was tremendously depressing. There is no championship for the National without his playoff performance.

On Wednesday, the MENA Tour (short for Middle East and North Africa) announced a partnership with LIV Golf. “We are taking this mutually beneficial action to support the game at the developmental level and because of the importance and fairness of LIV golfers qualifying for OWGR points,” said Atul Khosla, president and COO of LIV Golf. “We’re pleased to create pathways that give more opportunities for young players, while also giving fans rankings that include all the world’s best golfers.”

The MENA Tour was founded in 2011 and has mostly served as a developmental tour for players looking to eventually play in Europe and Asia. In 2016, the Dubai-based tour, which ran roughly 10-15 events a year, was awarded OWGR accreditation. The tour was canceled in 2018, and though it returned the following season, it has not staged any tournaments in more than two years. But as part of the announcement of the partnership with LIV, the MENA Tour revealed it will return with a 2022-23 season that kicks off with this week’s LIV Golf Invitational Bangkok and includes LIV’s last two 2022 events in Saudi Arabia and Miami.

A source tells Golf Digest that officials with LIV Golf believe the partnership with the MENA Tour will allow the LIV events to begin receiving OWGR points immediately, given that the MENA Tour already is accredited by the OWGR.

Lets hope the draft lottery gods are nice to the Nats. The worst pick they can get is 7th. So yeah we will be picking 7 lol

Can’t think of a season start where I was less interested in the Wizards. Beal at $50M is going to be awful. Johnny Davis looks like he’s never played basketball before. Going to be another banner season for the Bullets I suspect.

Wembanyama looks like a stud. But we will win just enough to draft 10th like the last 20 years lol.
