Between the Ducks and Padres what’s the deal with SoCal teams and terrible team colors?
For some reason I love the Padres colors. I think their uniforms are some of the best in baseball.Between the Ducks and Padres what’s the deal with SoCal teams and terrible team colors?
sucks what they did to the Nats but hey we got a 16% chance at a good draft pickThere’s something brutal about watching an afternoon/evening of playoff baseball and seeing Harper, Soto, and Turner (notwithstanding being caught looking there) making a difference for other teams. It didn’t have to be this way
Rooting big time for the Padres. Lived there for half a decade during my time in the service and my last apartment there was a few blocks from Petco Park. The Padres were really bad when I lived there (never won more than 70 games or so in any of the seasons I was there) but Petco is one of the best venues in baseball and going to the game was always awesome — perfect weather and they have (or had) something like 50 microbreweries on tap. The tickets were always really cheap (or free) too.Anyone but Harper….

The good people of San Diego must be feeling really good right now not only because they won but because they beat the Dodgers in the process. The Dodgers fans invaded Petco in more numbers than Eagles fans invade FedEx and they were more obnoxious as well.
Im not sure I can handle Philly with the Eagles and Philles right now.Juan Soto with the game tying RBI and the Game Winning run scored.
Either Juan or Harper will be in the WS this year. For some reason I'm only happy for one of them.
Then again I live in San Diego so if they can win a WS this town will explode!!!!
Nothing screams excitement like an impending ~.400 win percentage!Wizards season kicks off tonight. Yawn.
Nothing screams excitement like paying your aging and declining franchise player $50M per to compete for 10th place in the conference!Nothing screams excitement like an impending ~.400 win percentage!

That’s complete and utter nonsense. Memphis is doing great. Utah was a competitive team before they tore it down. Milwaukee is a contender year after year. Portland was a perennial contender in the west for a decade. The Suns were the best team in the west a few years ago. That small market garbage is loser talk. Why aren’t the Knicks perennial contenders? Why haven’t the Clippers won a championship in decades? Why was San Antonio the gold standard in the league for twenty years? The stupid league is so rigged against small teams. Wizards as usual will get the brunt of the stick and finish .500 or below. And that's assuming the 3 stars we managed to muster up are healthy all year.
Being a Wizards fan is very hard. And then people want to whine that Leonsis is doing a bad job with them. HIS HANDS ARE TIED. HE CAN'T DRAW PLAYERS HERE LIKE HE CAN IN HOCKEY.

The Wizards suck because they refuse to look at themselves objectively and they continue to make small-minded changes with the hope of coming in 7th. Ted has said they’ll never tear it down and rebuild. You know when Washington was at its best? When they had to tear it down and rebuild and got Wall and Beal and then Paul Pierce signed with them. The NBA is a superstar league like no other league and if you don’t have multiple stars you don’t compete.
Barring a non-lottery pick turning into a Jimmy Butler or Giannis they have no hope for being a contender and they only have themselves to blame.
The only lteam you mentioned perennialy contending for titles is Milwaukee, and Milwaukee has only been to the 3rd round once in the last 20 years. That’s complete and utter nonsense.
