He got rolled up on from the side by a falling rusher. One of those quick bodyweight jabs to a load bearing leg right at the knee. My guess is MCL sprain or tear. Looked to me like it was already swelling when he was carted off.

Rooting big time for the Padres. Lived there for half a decade during my time in the service and my last apartment there was a few blocks from Petco Park. The Padres were really bad when I lived there (never won more than 70 games or so in any of the seasons I was there) but Petco is one of the best venues in baseball and going to the game was always awesome — perfect weather and they have (or had) something like 50 microbreweries on tap. The tickets were always really cheap (or free) too.

The good people of San Diego must be feeling really good right now not only because they won but because they beat the Dodgers in the process. The Dodgers fans invaded Petco in more numbers than Eagles fans invade FedEx and they were more obnoxious as well.

Ted has said they’ll never tear it down and rebuild. You know when Washington was at its best? When they had to tear it down and rebuild and got Wall and Beal and then Paul Pierce signed with them. The NBA is a superstar league like no other league and if you don’t have multiple stars you don’t compete.

Barring a non-lottery pick turning into a Jimmy Butler or Giannis they have no hope for being a contender and they only have themselves to blame.

This all ^. I mean imagine the Caps if they had not torn it all down and landed Ovi? They would have been 15 years of finishing 7-10 in the conference, a few hapless playoff tries with no real chance of winning a Cup.

At least with a proper full rebuild, we got a decade of false hopes that we really were Cup contenders because we won a bunch of Presidents Trophies Oh and we actually did win a Cup, so I recall.

Ted should tear down the Zards and rebuild from scratch. Beal + 25 lbs of shit stuffed into a 15lb bag won't win squadoosh.

The only lteam you mentioned perennialy contending for titles is Milwaukee, and Milwaukee has only been to the 3rd round once in the last 20 years.

The Wizards are going to be in a rut like the Bobcats or whatever they call themin Charlotte, the Pelicans, Timberwolves etc. Small market teams get the brunt of the NBA stick. They have no shot. Look at the Pacers man.
