It feels like some people are more Lundqvist fans than Ranger fans...

Exactly, he's been the best in the world for a long time. He sucks right now plain and simple no way of sugar coating it. I'm positive he'll rebound, but that doesn't change the fact that the *team* needs to pick up a few points at this juncture.

Granted starting him against CBJ was the right move, he should at least play against the suckier teams.

I look forward to the day again when there's a quality scoring chance against him in a tight game and he actually makes a ****ing save.

Bobrovsky has not had a good season. Hes been just as inconsistent as Lundqvist. Two of the goals were suspect.

Maloney just said Lundqvist is "still working on his game". Huh? Whats he working on? Theres only 35 or so games left.

Hes not making it easy on Sather.

Thats a load of crock. More like adjusting to his small pads.

Hank would have a much better save pct if he could face the Rangers once in a while.

I can't believe someone picked Girardi and Zucc as two stars this game.

Honestly at this point in the season we desperately need wins so If I'm AV I'm starting Talbot next game. Play Hank against the weaker teams from now on.. let him "find his game" against them.

And honestly I'm shocked people are getting on Lundqvist. He had some iffy moments. Maybe could have been a bit better. But he made some huge saves in the 3rd and OT.

I know Henrik is staying. Don't want him traded. But its now January and he still looks lost and unsure.

"Slick moves" beat him in OT? No. He backed into the net on the first shooter. Second shooter he just watched stickhandling on his doorstep rather than be aggressive.

********. You should watch the game highlights. Lets see. Duby the first liner alone in the slot screening the goalie. What should Hank do? Use his psychic abilities and see through Duby???? Or what about the second. Shootout specialist alone vs Hank. Shocking that the shootout specialist scored. Just shocking. And what about the Third. Wiz CBJ best offensive Dman gets a beautiful pass from Duby and he too is alone vs Hank. No shot Blocking, no checking, nothing. Disgusting defense. Our D core played like Edmonton tonight. The same happened vs the Penguins. Four rangers vs Kunitz and Kunitz beat them all and played Crosby that scored on the backhand. This Board blames Hank. You should watch the game or shut up.

Not making it easy on Sather? If there's anyone not having an easy time with this, it's AV.

Sather has the easiest job in the world.

Can anyone tell me what Lundqvist did wrong in this game? He got beat on a deflection, a breakaway and a pure snipe. Talbots gotten beaten on these kinds of things and no one *****es about them. Are you complaining about the number being 3? Or are you complaining about him giving up "softies?"

..That still doesn't nullify Girardi! Give him a participation ribbon, but a ****ing star?!

I didn't give him a star. I thought Girardi was 'meh'. I just commented on Zuccerello. I didn't dissect everyone else's performances either. Frankly, Stralman was the the worst D-man on the Rangers tonight. Callahan was so-so. Richards and Nash was probably the best two Rangers from my vantage point.

And Hank just won a shoutout three games ago. Jesus some of you are so "what have you done for me lately" that I really wonder.

And people saying that Hank doesn't look like himself blah blah blah. Shut up. You have no idea what you're talking about. Hank has clearly been trending upwards ever since the Tampa Bay game. If you knew anything about goaltending it would be as clear as day. But most of you don't is you just sit here blaming it on the goalie like most uneducated hockey fans do.

Hank isn't in Vezina from but he's getting there. Since that Tampa game he's been getting better and better. Look at his mechanics. No wasted movements. All of his movements are powerful and smooth. His reflexes are looking on point. His confidence is coming but that will be he last and most important piece to get hi m back to Vezina form. Hank now vs Hank early this season is night and day. So you morons who keep refering to him as **** and playing like garbage just stop. You're showing your ignorance to the game and especially the position.

He's our starter. The only way this team is going anywhere is with Hank playing like Hank. Av needs to ride Hank. Let him build his confidence and soon he'll be back to normal. It's plain as day that he's trending that way. He just needs his confidence back. He needs to play 5-6 in a row and find his groove and reaffirm to himself that he's the man here. Confidence is a fickle thing. I like talbot and he's doing his job. But riding him over Hank serves no purpose. We NEED Hank to get back to 100%. Play him.

Lundqvist keeps getting crapped on, but he had a pretty good game. The first goal, deflection. Second goal, breakaway move. Third goal, left wide open on a pretty good shot by Wiz. Maybe he could have gotten to the Wiz shot but most goalies don't.

Once he made over 8 mil, and he doesn't have a 1 GAA and a .940 save percentage, we are being overly critical. He played well tonight especially in the third and OT. Bob also let in three goals. Does he suck too?

Shout out to Lundqvist again.

What a disaster he's been.

he played well in the 3rd period... OT was a dazzling display of the 3 awesome PKers and Hank's play.

He's not yet comfortable in the shootout, but he's looking better each game.

I say by game 60 we start to see alot more of the Hank we're used to.

He made one really bad, glaring, one - the turnover to Dubinsky. He had a good game overall.

What about that beautiful pass he made in OT? The one I was alluding to earlier.

Who the **** passes the puck right back to where there are multiple bodies, both Rangers and Blue Jackets?

Maloney was on XM late this afternoon/early evening with Esposito and was talking about Hank.

Maloney did his typical audible breath and basically said that Hank has not been Hank and there seems to be a serious loss of confidence. Couldn't put any actual reason for it, but that he just seemed "off".

Think the Olympics are going to be very telling. Olympics are right around the time of the year Hank goes from being good to God-like. Maybe those games might give him some confidence.

stop bringing up his salary. It's not a relevant point. The performance in the game is what it is.

It is absolutely relevant. Performance vs. salary is crucial in a league with a salary cap. He played a pretty good game, and is now making ELITE money. He needs to play at that level or he will be a weight around the team's shoulders.
