This is bullshit, at least when it comes to Zibanejad. He’s a soft spoken guy but he very clearly cares. He looks like he wants to cry after every loss. I’ve never gotten selfish player vibes from him even a little bit.

The guy sulks every time things don't go his way. As long as he's getting 50 PP minutes with Kreider he's fine. Guy doesn't have an ounce of leadership or intensity in him.

I don't think Zibanejad is selfish at all. Kreider had to throw his Ipad because he was eating himself up over missing his chances to score. He cares about helping the team and doing his job as a top player.

He just leaves so much to be desired from time to time. Looks uninspired, lacksadaisical. Wants to just be a 20G one timer PP guy who is the Henrik to Kreiders Daniel banking pucks off end boards for kreider to skate to.

He can't play that way. He has got to play give a sh*t hockey with speed and skill and a little bit of drive to his game. Heres to hoping Laf and Kakko drag him into the game they are willing to play: skill with a little bit of grab your balls and work along the boards when needed

Mika and Kreider breakup sparked the team. Both looked better with different lineups, keep it that way Gerard. Kakko must live above an ancient Indian burial ground. Trouba I thought was excellent as well. Still need to put a full 60 together (what else is new?) We all know what this team is capable of, but I guess jokes on us because we just got roped into staying up for a couple week day late games. LGR

This is perfect. Laf and Kakko know the only way they stay there is if they give up 0 goals against and that line all gets atleast 1 point every night.

Boom. We have a top line that is a point-per-game AND is atleast +55 over the next 55 games

This is where Gallant needs to put his foot down with these guys. They play with who he tells them to play with.

Kreider still made a big play with that short handed goal. These guys need to play for the team, not just themselves and their buddies.

This win changes nothing. They took multiple stupid penalties, looked dead at times, and were abysmal in their own zone the first 2 periods. Simply dreadful. If they don't clean that up they are going nowhere and with this coach I don't see them cleaning that up.

You're usually so positive after a win.
